Chapter 46. First day at work.

John woke up early , having a hot shower, he dressed in a black formal pants and a crisp white shirt. Adrianna was up already. She walked up to him with a red tie. you will look dashing today as she set his collar.

''Just don't make any girlfriends'', she teased.

John laughed heartily.

Adrianna took her car keys and placed it in John's hand. ''There are plenty of cars and drivers if I need to go anywhere, use mine'', Adrianna smiled. She stood on her tip toes and pecked his cheek. 

His heart thudded in his chest. This was a special moment. He smiled at her blushing face. She didn't know what came over her. 

They felt a little awkwardness in the air and John made the first move,''I best be on my way,I will see you after work''.

Adrianna could not help but feel rejected. ''She had made an effort to show him a small bit of affection but instead of returning the gesture, he left''.

He fluttering heart now plummeted to the depths of the
