I was walking to my evening class when Victoria Sterling intercepted me outside the science building.

"Maya." Her voice was saccharine sweet, but her eyes were cold. "We need to talk."

"I don't think we do," I replied, trying to walk around her.

She stepped in front of me. "Your little blog is causing problems for a lot of people."

"Good," I said, surprising myself with how steady I sounded. "Problems that needed to be caused."

"You think this is a game?" Victoria's mask slipped, revealing real anger underneath. "You think you can just write whatever you want without consequences?"

"I'm writing the truth about my own experiences. If that threatens you, maybe you should examine why."
