Chapter 7.

Everybody was in the hall discusing, eating and looking around. Christiana, Chidera and Johnathan engaged in a conversation amongst themselves about work, the event and how life has been.

"I miss Aishat. Every time I call, she's always busy or rushing somewhere or too tired you can hear it from her voice sef." Dera told them and Tiana nodded her head in agreement.

"But she told me her parents introduced her to someone so they are going on date soon." Tiana added.

Dera's eye lit up in excitement.

"You know since her break up with Jonathan, she hasn't dated anyone." Dera said and Tiana hummed while sipping her wine.

"You guys do know I am here." Johnathan looked between them furrowing his eyebrow.

"So?" Dera looked at him raising her eyebrow.

As they continued discussing, James was interacting with a couple who kept talking about the hotel, how it's going to be success and just kept hyping him up. James just nodded along, smiling but his attention was on Tiana.

Everything about her was attracted him to her. As she laughed at something, he couldn't help but admire her beautiful smile, to him no one else mattered in the entire room except her.

Christiana felt someone gaze on her so she looked around, and looked eyes with James.

She excused herself to go get a drink, James saw this as a chance to talk to her. He smiled politely thanking the couple thanking them.

"Enjoying yourself?" He asked.

She beamed, "Yes, the hotel is really beautiful."

"Thank you. Umm---"

"Is that Folake?" James was cut off by his loud sister, one of the twins, Kehinde.

They both turned around. As soon as Christiana saw Kehinde, she hugged her tightly.

"Where have you been? I missed youuu." Christiana pouted as they broke apart.

The two did their masters together at the same university. Kehinde called Tiana by a middle name because she preferred it.

"I have been getting comfortable at my job. I missed you too boo." Kehinde answered then looked at her brother.

"Oh you have met my brother." Kehinde wiggled her eyebrows at James who was stood there confused on how the two of them knew each other.

So her name is Folake?? He thought.

"So he's your brother?" Tiana's facial expression couldn't hide that she was genuinely shocked.

"How do you know each other?"

Kehinde explained to him and he nodded.

Kehinde smiled as they said their goodbyes. "It was nice to see you again,"

"Let's exchange numbers so we can keep in touch." They swapped numbers, and then Kehinde gave her a quick hug. She bid her brother goodbye and gave him a hug.

"So your name is Folake?" James asked and she nodded with a smile.

"What's your Yoruba name?"She asked.

He answered, "you will have to find out."

She smiled and said, "It can't be that hard at least by tomorrow I should already know. "

"If you do find it, you should let me know when I pick you up on Sunday evening for dinner. "He replied smoothly.

She looked at him for a second before chuckling." Anyways, did you see the write up we sent to you? "She asked changing the subject. He chuckled at her.

"Yeah, I did but I didn't see your name as the journalist so I thought it was a different interview. " He told her honestly.

A few days ago, he got the write up because they wanted him to see it before they printed it out.

When he didn't see her name he thought it was a different interview because he did a lot but he also knew what he said to her.

"That's how it is. "She sighed sadly. She had never gotten recognition for anything she did. Even though she was the one who organized the meeting, set up questions, asked, went back to write it. He could hear the sadness in her tone.

"Well I really liked it." He answered trying to lighten things up.

She smiled and said, "Thank you. I am going to find my friends so we can leave."

" So can I get your number? "He asked her.

She chuckled and said," Give me your phone. "He gave her smirking as she typed her number and giving him to save it himself.

"Good night. "She said then walked away, his eyes followed her until she was out of sight. He saved her number as Fola❣️.

"Do you have a man?" Daniel asked Chidera as they walked out of the hall. Johnathan was talking to Mustapha while Tiana was scrolling through her phone reading a blog.

"I do actually."She answered noticing the way Daniel has been looking at all night. He looked like a lion that just saw his prey and was ready to devour it.

"Well" He stretched out his hand motioning for her to give him her phone, she chuckled lowly handing it to him," if your man doesn't treat you right, you have my number."

She giggled shaking her head at him. As they reached Johnathan's car, Daniel opened the passenger's door for her while Tiana sat in the back seat.

"Alright thank you guys. We will be in touch. "Johnathan said to both of them.

"You guys,If I was singleeeeeeeee."Chidera dragged thinking about Daniel. They both laughed at the way she shook her head left and right saying it.

"You are feeling him?" Johnathan reversed out the parking lot.

Chidera answered, "he just got me feeling some typa way."

Tiana said, "Ouuuuuu, I see you boo." Chidera looked at her then bursted out laughing.
