Chapter 22

Just like I thought, Auntie Nora had a heart attack on the third day that Mildred was missing. She was so broken up and worried that something terrible might have happened to her granddaughter. She's still in the hospital.

Oliver has been working nonstop to find Mildred. I would go home late, but he would stay at the station. And when I come back the following morning, he would still be there. I can't blame him. Mildred is his niece. His own blood.

"Come on, man. You can't keep this up. You have to sleep, too. You need to rest."
