Hayden pov

"Where is Lucien?" I asked Peter, and immediately I came out of the hospital.

"At your office, he is going through all the surveillance cameras, but there seems to be a problem," he said.

"What problem?" I asked him immediately because I did not want any excuses; I just wanted to tear anyone who ever did this lamb by limb.

"He did not say, and I can't question him," Peter replied.

With anger coursing through my body, I broke into a run. Arriving at my office, I stood outside and listened to Lucien barking orders.

"Someone tampered with the camera; among the servants, get all of them to the underground cell and get Melinda. I will inform the Alpha, and we will join you guys at the cell."

"The Alpha is here. No need to call me," I said, opening the door.

Lucien dropped the phone and stood up from my seat. "Alpha Hayden, I was about to call you."

"I know. What have you learned?" I said, and the guard bowed and ran out.

"Come see for yourself," he sai
