Chapter 10- Characterless Ben.

When I woke up, I found myself on the bed in my room. I faintly remembered the events that had occurred the previous day. “It was evening when we were in the cab heading towards my bungalow. But what happened after that? I slept off, did I? I don’t just remember anything. Did Ben take advantage of my situation?” I tried to recall as I looked at myself. I was in my nightgown. “Who changed my clothes? What did Ben do to me?” I started getting worried already. I looked all around the room, but I couldn’t find him anywhere. I wondered where he went. I was filled with rage at him. My mind was already storming with a million questions about Ben’s character.

I started breathing deeply, trying to release my frustration. I threw the vase right on the floor, breaking it into pieces. Tears rolled down my cheeks at the thought that Ben had betrayed me.
