Chapter 43: Anne defeats a vampire.

Ben looked all around. In fact, he jumped towards the window to see who was listening to our conversation. We had been discussing something really confidential, and somebody else eavesdropped on the same, which was detrimental to us. We could not let any of the pure vampires know about his secrets in a situation where they were at loggerheads with Ben. He was extremely worried and wanted to find out who that was.

He went near the window and sniffed. As a half vampire, he could sense the smell and identify the presence of a pure vampire easily. “Why don’t I feel the smell of a vampire here? You know, Anne, all I can sense is the fragrance of a deodorant over here. Whoever reached here had applied deodorant on purpose just to mislead me.” Ben said.

“Who else other than Uncle Ronald can try to mislead you, Ben? I am almost sure that it is his work.” I asserted.

Within a split second, Ben was out of the window, following somebody who was not visible to me at least.
