Jes's heart stopped when Raphael Andrew had called her 'Jes' instead of Emily but the moment he turned around and faced her, Jes's heart almost burst out of her chest.

The feverish look in Nathan's eyes was unnerving. He looked like a feral animal, ready to attack her at any moment. His fists were clenched at his sides. His eyes were bloodshot, his jaw was locked. Jes can see that he was grinding his teeth.

His brown hairs were combed backward. Even with a good style beard, Jes was still able to make out his sharp jawline. He was wearing a well-tailored suit.
