Brianna's POV

It's been a good three weeks since Jake left the hospital. I've been taking care of him the whole time.

He acts like a big baby because he wants to do things on his own, but he gets irritated when he's unable to.

After his discharge, we stayed in California for two weeks. Finally, a week ago, we were able to comfortably drive back home. It was a really long drive, but I loved every step of it.

I fussed and turned all the time, since I'm a good fifteen weeks pregnant now.

My stomach is not very big, but sitting for too long can be uncomfortable.

And because of the accident, Jake has become more overprotective of me.

Although he can barely move, since he still needs to take it easy on his foot, he still wants to walk around and do things as usual.

There's just no stopping this man.

"Jake, sit your ass down already," I say as he tries to place the table for me.

He limps on his good foot. I can tell his foot is already bothering him. He looks at me, raises an eyebr

  • Lakeview: Falling for Brie    Mrs. Mitchell

Ten Years Later Brianna's POV I have been swamped and nervous today. Aiden just turned ten years old.....TEN! Can you believe that? Why are my babies growing up so fast? My baby girl Emily just turned eight herself in late August. For a while, when I was pregnant with her, I thought she was going to be born on my birthday. But she was born a week after mine, on the twenty-first. However, their birthdays are not the reason I am completely nervous. It is rather because Jake has something planned for us this weekend and doesn't want to tell me. I am now preparing Aiden and Emily's bags to travel with Grandma Loretta and Grandpa Phill to California to visit their godparents, Aunt Evey and Uncle Matt. They have never traveled anywhere without me or Daddy... So that makes me so nervous. In addition, Jake told me to pack warm clothes only, saying he'd take care of the rest. I make my way to the living room, bags in hand. "Ok, Loretta, please... Make sure Aiden eats and is not on those

  • Lakeview: Falling for Brie    I Do

Third Person POV Brianna stood before the body-length mirror. Her hair floods down beautifully in loose curls. Evelyn tried to pin her veil delicately on the back of her head. She shivered with nervousness. Her eyes threatened to become glossy as she tried to fight back the uncontrollable urge to shake her whole body. The pit of her stomach feeling butterflies mixed with the sudden kicks from her little one was not the best combination at this time. "Hold still, will you?" Evey glared annoyingly at her. "I know... I know I'm sorry. I'm just so nervous right now, Evey. What if he gets cold feet? What if he says no in the end? Or what if he never even makes it to the" "Stop it, Brie!... you're getting way ahead of yourself. He'll be there.... waiting for you to walk down the aisle." Carissa reassured her. She makes her way to her, her tiny baby girl Zoe wrapped in a cute fuzzy lavender blanket. She could hear as she walked to Brianna. Brianna's gaze softened as she took the image

  • Lakeview: Falling for Brie    Wedding Preps

Third Person POV Brianna stood before the girls... Her baby bump was all she could think of. It made picking out a dress harder than she thought. There was no way she was going to postpone the wedding now. Not when it was just a few months away. Jake had taken on the task of giving her the dream wedding she wanted, whatever it took, no matter the cost. He just wanted her to remember that day as one of the most precious, romantic, unforgettable nights of their lives. She had already tried on three gowns, but they were either too tight on her belly or just didn't quite suit her. Evelyn tried to calm her down to no avail. It's not like she was a bridezilla; it's more that she wanted that perfect dress to make the perfect impression on him. While it was true, once she walked down that aisle, all eyes would be on her... but she only thought walking down was the beginning of her happily ever after with the man she was deeply in love with. Her best friend and soon-to-be husband. She ha

  • Lakeview: Falling for Brie    She's My Everything

Jake's POV Mid-June (Graduation Day) I stood with Matthew, Caleb, Jeremy, Carissa, and Vanessa. I was a nervous wreck. We were in front of our seats, waiting to hear the end of the speech from our headmaster and preparing ourselves to walk towards the stage and receive our diplomas. There were numerous audience members in the stands, but my mind was only set on one beauty up there: my soon-to-be wife, Brianna. She has been my biggest support this year. I never thought I'd be graduating with her by my side. If I had gone back to the beginning of this year and been told she would be coming here, I probably would have been really excited, but I wouldn't have believed it. She makes me happy. She knows what ticks me off, what makes me smile. I don't think anyone knows me as well as she does. ***** We all took turns on our graduation walk and shook hands with the dean, headmasters, lead staff, and numerous teachers. When it was my turn, I could hear a loud roar of people yelling my na

  • Lakeview: Falling for Brie    I Love You's & Forever's

Brianna's POV I'd have to admit... when I decided to come back to Tennessee this school year, I never thought that my life would make a complete turn on me. I had my mind set to come here and take over Dad's vineyard. Maybe have the chance to spend time with Jake and my brother along the way. It never crossed my mind that Jake would actually love me like he does now. I've always been deeply in love with him, and I feared that coming here would end up in a broken heart. My mind often wandered, thinking about what it would be like to actually be considered his girlfriend. But then I'd bring myself back to reality, knowing the possibility of him having someone else in his life was there. The possibility of my coming here and finding he had someone else he was in love with. For a while, I really believed it, especially when I met Kaitlyn. She was beautiful, with her long blonde hair, fair skin, and blue eyes. She was much taller than I was and very fit. I didn't think I'd even have a
