As Alex left for work, Luna spent her day thinking about everything that had happened. Despite trying so hard to come up with a way to live with him in the months that were left, she still found herself feeling worried.

She believed things were the way they were because Claire had not fully recovered, but once she was, Luna knew that Claire would be all over Alex, which would force Luna to always be in his space. How was she going to cope with this awkwardness between them?

Meanwhile, as Alex went to work, he couldn't stop thinking about how to resolve the situation with Luna. He blamed himself for speaking too soon, but then again, he told himself that it was better she knew how he felt. Perhaps, if he tried harder, she might change her mind. But what if she didn't?

For a moment, he contemplated telling his grandfather to hold off giving him his shares because if Luna found out that he got the shares, their contract would come to an end, and he would not have a reason to be with her
