As Luna left Alex's room, she stood in the living room, smiling. She could not understand why she was feeling so guilty. Perhaps, it was because she hadn't really done any nice thing for him since their arrangement began. Not that she was obligated to.

The contract had clearly stated their terms, and she was sticking by them. Despite having these thoughts, she made up her mind to take care of Alex to the best of her ability until he recovered. That way, she would always feel like she was able to do something nice for him, and when they parted, she could try her best to still keep him as a good friend.

At the very least, he could think about the times when she went out of her way to do something nice for him like she had decided to do.

She went to the kitchen and met Adrian, who was paying attention to what the cooks under him were making.

"How is it going?" she asked.
