Jay enjoyed watching movies with Mj almost as much as he loved any excuse to cuddle up next to Moxie, but the two of them at the same time were turning out to be less fun than he had originally anticipated. As Mj watched Matty and Briella run through the tangle of trees and wolves, it was almost sadly poetic to see a young girl so powerful on the inside and vulnerable on the outside intertwine her life’s joy with a young boy who looked so furiously powerful on the outside but was genuinely soft on the inside. Mathew made sure that no matter where Briella ran or whether she held his hand or not, her path was clear. The young wolf's body broke into a sweat as he worked physically and mentally to make himself worthy of her smile. Briella watched as Mattys' unmistakable scent surrounded her at every turn, no matter what direction her feet or ears carried her, Matty was never far.
