Outside the sun was shining while a maid helped Betty packing upstairs while Develin was still busy in his office.

“Mrs. Lacroix, is this all you want to take with you for your honeymoon or is there more I need to pack for you?” The maid asked Betty whose mind was not with the packing at the moment….

“Oh….sorry Rose no thank you! You already helped me enough so you can go do your other work” Betty replied with a blush, feeling slightly stupid.

“Oh okay, alright then, if you still need me later for something, you can call for me” Rose replied and then walked out of the bedroom suit and closed the door behind her.

Meanwhile Betty removed the suitcases from the bed and sat down on the edge while thinking.
