A Name Twice

Sarai’s POV

She was right. A part if the book has been torn and that baffles us as we can’t say exactly what is going on. Lydia didn’t expect this so she gave me this questioning look.

I am as confused as she was at that moment. I could only stare at the torn pages.

“Is everything alright?” Loretta asked.

“Yes, it is just a bit off seeing how things are unfolding.” I responded.

“No one needs to be surprised about this anymore. They are just like the regular thing we were expecting. Am I right, Miss Lydia?” Loretta asked

“Sure, you are. You know as much as we were expecting all of these, I am also sure that we were hoping to be wrong. That must have been why she was flustered. You needn’t worry about it.” Lydia said.

We moved forward in the search and the room was filled with sounds of rustling papers from the flipping.

“I noticed a name twice.”. Loretta said breaking the silence.

“That way, it must have been that the person left and came back.” Lydia said.
