Chapter 12 - Put In The Corner

Nathaniel had skipped following Nadir at the wedding party because he couldn't possibly endure such excess of happiness and other good feelings. There were enough of them at the wedding itself, not counting the weakness he felt after being in such a sacred place as the church for so long. If, after such torment, Nathaniel were to be at a wedding party as well, certainly would not be able to remain invisible, and he could not show himself to anyone, after all, he was a stranger to these people. However, after the party ended, Nathaniel immediately followed Nadir and Miguel as they walked out of the house. Of course, he had to be extra careful, because weakened by his earlier stay in the church, he could not mask his aura so well now.
