For a second Yuri genuinely thought he misheard. Of all the insults Gleb had thrown at him this was by far the worst.

Before he could finish, Gleb grabbed his throat with his hands and shoved him back harder against the mattress.

Yuri scoffed, more provocative words on the tip of his tongue that soon vanished when Gleb's hand tightened around his throat.

He struggled violently, thrashing and clawing against Gleb's skin. “Get OFF me!”

Gleb kept talking over him.

“You’re exhausting, you embarrass me every time you open that filthy mouth of yours,.” Gleb said through gritted teeth, positioning his dick at Yuri's entrance. “Asshole….” He mummured, brushed back the strands of hair over his face, hurriedly grabbed his clothes from the floor while Gleb cursed behind him.

“Yuri!” he reached out to touch him scrambling off the bed as well but Yuri slapped his hand away.

“Stop acting dramatic, get back in bed..”

Yuri barked out a laugh while pulling his shirt over his head. “Dramatic?!” he screamed, his voice cracking the more he tried to hold back his tears. “You called me another person’s name while screwing me and then you call me infertile!”

Gleb looked more annoyed than guilty. He followed Yuri out of the room and grabbed his arm roughly but received a heavy blow to the side of his head that got him staggering back.

Yuri grabbed his car keys from the kitchen table with shaking hands. “Go to Ethan,” he spat. “Since he’s apparently so perfect, I'm done! I've had enough.”

Hee stormed out, ignoring Gleb's shout behind him.

By the time he reached the underground parking lot, his hands were trembling so badly he almost dropped his car keys.

God everything ached so bad he could barely walk straight, and the alcohol Gleb made him drink was not helping matters at all.

‘Seven years, seven damn years and for what?’

Yuri laughed maniacally as he climbed into his driver's seat and slammed the door shut. He glanced at the elevator, Gleb was already coming down.

“…Yuri?” Yuri froze and a chill ran up his spine. "Yuri Jang, it's really you.”

His gaze moved to the mirror overhead and he was met with crazed manic eyes of one of Gleb's fans.

“Wh..what the fuck are you doing in my….” the sound of a gunshot rang out, and the last thing Yuri felt was immense pain in his chest, followed by a quick jab to the side of his neck before his car door flung open and his body slumped to the ground.

He barely had any time to process what was going on, as he choked on his blood, his hands weakly moving to his throat to stop the blood flow. He couldn't feel a thing, and his vision was slowly fading.

The last thing he saw was a masked man towering above him, then the scent of incense and a subtle hint of whiskey. He also felt his body being lifted off the ground before everything went dark, filled with complete unbearable silence.

His eyes snapped open, a shrill gasp left his throat accompanied by the sound of a glass shattering the moment he opened his eyes. His hands flew to his throat and his head, he was panting and sweating profusely.

He wheezed like he was trying to breathe. Then a hand touched his back making him flinch and move away in panic.

His bloodshot wide eyes, already filling up with tears as panic washed over him suddenly went still when his gaze settled on his mother's face. Her beautiful face filled with worry and glossy eyes.

Yuri looked at the person standing beside her, it was his father, worry painting his features.

He instantly turned around, his eyes darting around the place, then his face went pale.

People dressed exquisitely in the hall outside the room they were in. Soft music playing, and….he looked down at his hand, he was wearing a white suit.

And on his fingers was an engagement ring.
