Not even the car's air conditioning was able to quell the stifling and tense atmosphere inside. They had been halfway through the way and had not spoken to each other.

Cristian had his knuckles white from tightening the wheel and was pressing his teeth annoyed, he was already getting tired of his partner's foul airs and no matter how much predestined she was, everything had a limit. Alisha, on the other hand, watched the landscape move through the window although she barely paid attention to it.
