Cora’s POV

The moment the words pass my lips, I realize the mistake I’ve made.

Anger glints in his eyes. Alexander grabs my chin roughly, pulling me even closer. “Don’t get ahead of yourself,” he hisses. “Our separation hasn’t been made properly public yet. I’m not jealous. If I spent my time being jealous of the men you’d use, I’d never be able to get anything done. No, I just don’t want my Luna to embarrass me by going out and being someone else’s plaything.”
