He was awake, weak eyes by at least he was breathing and all bandaged.A tear slid from my cheek as he dropped his head sideways to we my face.I skimmed past the nurse and ran to him. With trembling arms and wobbly knees. I held his hand pathetically staring at him."They told me you wouldn't make it and that you had given up. I knew it's not possible..." I said exuberantly.He stared at me blankly like he couldn't understand what I had been saying."Why are you looking at me like that? Have you lost your memory??" I asked wide eyed and he chuckled."Rissa...I was shot on my chest not my head" He winced and I smiled warmly at him.The three nurses clustered behind me gazing at us. Mom and dad were at the door watching.

He informed and mom gasped.I slumped ruefully back on the bench hearing mom sob quietly. I was thrown speechless with what we had just uncovered about his health.He really wants to leave me, doesn't he?
