Leon POV

“She’s awake? When? Has she said anything?” I blurted out without thinking.

He paused for a moment before continuing.

“No. She woke up not long ago. I’m not sure what happened but she proper freaked out for a while. I heard the doctor tell her about her injuries and I heard some of the nurses talking. She was hit with a massive amount of force by the car. She is definitely a wolf; a human would have died on impact.”

I detected a hint of sorrow in his voice.

“There is something though. The doctor did confirm she’s in foster care and she does have foster parents, but again nobody has visited her.” His voice came across soft, as if he also felt sorry for her.

“That may be why we weren’t allowed any information on her. She must still be under 18. Thank you. Stay a little bit longer and find out what you can.”

“Yes, Alpha. How is the situation over there? Was there many injured?”
