None of the got much sleep that night. Mika lay there trying to piece together how she read the signs wrongly. She thought for sure he was in love with her topped up with how he behaved when she got back. Her heart was broken and she didn't know how she was going to stay in a marriage where she was not loved. She knew she loved him and wanted the marriage to work but, how?

He lay there facing her back, wanting so badly to reach out and hold her in his arms. He knew he loved her, the words just couldn't come out. He knew that she wanted to hear the words, he just got tongue tied. He hoped he didn't lose her because of this.
