After the reception, we all went home, and Elliot and I went straight to bed. I was so exhausted from the emotional roller coaster I had been on since I took Bonnie and Crystal home. When I finished brushing my teeth and getting dressed for bed, I climb into bed and yawned as I scooted as close to my mate as I could possibly get. Shifting into a bear wasn’t nearly as bad as shifting to a wolf for the first time. Maybe it was because I had already become accustomed to the feeling of my bones breaking and rearranging themselves. When the shift first started, I felt someone pick me up.
