Chapter 1

"They are not paired," my father told me.

"And might I ask how I'm supposed to find them within the battlefield you have created?"

"I told you not to look for them in the first place,"

"Kaname and Kami both are on the battlefield, they've been there since our 10th birthday. Father, it's obvious they don't like me and you are never around either, I have a half-sibling somewhere in this city and I will find them. I at least want to know what they look like, Father please, I need more to go on." I plead with my father, hoping that this time he'll let me know something about my half-sibling.

"Don't tell the brat anything, she's already abandoned us on the battlefield, wouldn't want her to abandon the family too now would we?" Kami says leaning on the doorframe, I turn around to face her only to see her smirking.

"Cut it out Kami, we're 16 now can't we just act like adults," Kaname says walking into Father's office.

"Can it Kaname, we all know you're only acting this way because Father is here," Kami says draping her arm on Kaname's shoulder.

"Enough you, two," Father gets up from his chair, "shouldn't you both be on the battlefield now?"

"We were Father but he is there so we came to get you as soon as possible, numbers are dropping," Kaname says

Kami looked at me and said "We would have been here sooner but neither of us can teleport,"

"Maybe numbers are dropping because your healing power is insufficient," I say, smirking at Kami.

"ENOUGH, Karma I need you to open up a portal and send us to the battlefield, you will be fighting alongside us"

I do as Father says, open up a portal and we all step through it.

Now that we're standing on the battlefield, I see him taking down our men one by one with ease. He is known by the heroes as The Guardian, he's been around about the same time as my father. The Guardian is the strongest hero they have, I almost put him out of commission about a year ago. I'm surprised he's back so soon.

"Karma, I trust you know what to do," My father says to me, I disappear and reappear behind The Guardian.

"Welcome back Guardian," I say with a fake smirk on my face, he turns around slowly and looks down at me.

"Eclipse" the tall muscular man looks at me with shock as he says my villain name.

"Nice to see that you're back, looks like my predictions were wrong. You should've been out for at least 2 months, no matter. I'll just make sure you won't be back for a bit." a portal opens up behind The Guardian and Kaname comes through, taps him, and steps through the portal again then I close it. I leap back, opening a portal behind me and I land near my Father.

"A year off the battlefield and you look as though you never left, that's my girl," my father says. "show me what you got Kaname,"

Kaname puts his index fingers and thumbs together activating his power, The Guardian freezes in place. Kaname smiles and says "Right leg, break" The Guardian grabs his right shin and snaps his bones in half. "left leg, break" The Guardian grabs his left shin and breaks his bones again.

"God, Kaname, that's sick," Kami says, covering her ears and closing her eyes.

"Can I go home now?" I ask my Father, he looks down at me with an unamused look.

"Bring the wounded to the tent Karma when you're done you may return home," my Father says walking away with Kaname and Kami. I sigh and walk around the battlefield, teleporting all of our wounded men back to our base to be healed. Night fell and I had still been looking for wounded soldiers, I didn't want to be out for much longer. I heard a faint voice crying out.

"H-help" I turned to the right and saw someone lying in the dirt, I ran over to help them. It was a boy about my age with red hair. Judging by his hair colour alone, I could tell that he wasn't one of our men.

"Where are you hurt?" I asked him, as I slowly pulled him up to sit.

"I just sprained my ankle, it would mean a lot if you could take me back to the base," the boy said with a smile.

"What's your name and how old are you?" I asked the boy.

"I'm Natsu and I'm 16" he replied in pain.

"You'll be at your base in a second," I say pointing a finger gun at him.

"But what about your name?" Natsu looks up at me, worried.

"Hm, oh we'll meet again soon," I open a portal underneath him and he falls through it.

"Hometime," I say as I open a portal and step through it. "Uh oh"
