CHAPTER SIXTY

Gianna's POV;

"What did you say?" He asked me again, looking at me attentively and I gulped.

"Answer me!" He yelled and I jumped. I shouldn't have asked him this question. I turned around to walk out of the room but he grabbed my shoulder and turned me around again.

He sighed and wiped his forehead before saying," I'm sorry. I didn't mean to yell at you. I'm just shocked. How did you know Diavolo? Did he come to you? Please answer me, I need to know something."

"No, he didn't come to me. Alanna told me about him. And I wanted to apologize for ignoring you, I shouldn't have done that." I placed my hand on his chest and he sighed in relief. "Who is he to you?" I moved closer and asked again.

He looked at me before hesitantly saying, "He's an old friend. The last time we saw each other was thirteen years ago." He said. Thirteen years? It's been a long time. "But that was when you guys met, right?" I said because I didn't understand what he was saying.
