Stefan's POV
I watch in horror as Angie lunges at Eric, her arms stretched high over her head, ready to plunge the dagger into his neck, and his menacing laughter echoes through the chamber. He rips the dagger from her hand and effortlessly pushes her down to the ground and she skids across the floor
I scramble towards them and try to shift but Eric is too quick and he lunges for me. Before I know it he has one of my wrists locked in an iron cuff that is attached to the wall, the inside of the cuff has spikes that pierce my skin. I panic as I try to get it off and my stomach ties up in knots with dread as he walks back over to Angie.
"You thought you could save this girl, didn't you?" he asks as he lifts her off the ground by her hair, her toes barely touching the ground.
I'm frantic as I try and tug myself free from the wall.
"Clever of you to tell me she wasn't clean so you could hide her from me," he shifts his gaze down at her and he smiles, "but your destiny is to be my pet, isn't it?"
I watch helplessly as he picks her up and lays her on the gurney. He makes quick work to fasten her legs and arms down using the medical restraints that were meant for him, and he rips her shirt off as she tries to fight him off, but he already has her right where he wants her.
"Eric, don't do this! It's certain death if you hurt her. Alpha Leo will kill you without hesitation if you harm her!"
That get's his attention and he turns to me and pushes me against the wall.
"Never speak of him as Alpha! He has no right! I AM YOUR ALPHA!!"
He let's me go and goes back to Angie who is struggling hard against the restraints and screaming out Leo's name.
"Here, this time you can watch, Stefan. You said you know what I did to Sadia? Well, now you can see first hand what happened."
My wolf is enraged and I try to shift, but the cuff has wolfsbane in it and prevents it.
Eric doesn't waste time and with one hand he rips her shirt off and roughly grabs her breasts as he unbuttons her pants and pulls them off of her with the other. Angie is begging him to stop and Eric takes her shirt and ties it tight around her mouth to try and silence her, then he climbs on top of her.
"Please Eric, don't do this!"
"Don't you want to see what I did to Sadia? Now you don't have to wonder, you can know all the details. She loved it too."
Just as he is about to take the poor girl I see Sadia in the doorway.
"Get the fuck off of her," Sadia holds up a shotgun and cocks the lever back. Eric looks almost shocked to see her.
"Get off her or I'll blow you head off, do you understand me?" She says again in a calm steady voice.
"Sadia, how lovely to see you," Eric says with a smarmy voice and he slowly walks away from Angie and moves in front of my wife.
"I think you should know I didn't enjoy killing you, well I thought I killed you. But, I did enjoy taking you, are you sure that little boy is really his?" He asks and I see a flash of rage pass in Sadia's eyes.
Eric walks back to Angie and he places his hand on her thigh.
"Get your hands off her or I'll blow them right off your body."
Eric moves his hand further up Angie's leg and laughs, taunting Sadia, and Angie's muffled cries get louder as she tries to wiggle away from his touch.
"I warned you," she says and Eric quickly moves in front of her and places the shotgun against his chest.
"You don't have the guts to do it. You didn't even fight me off that night, you wanted it as much as I did."
I shutter when a boom echoes throughout the room and Eric is lifted off his feet and hits the wall. I look at the door and I see my Sadia standing there, eyes full of tears and rage, and she pulls shoots again before she pulls back the lever and reloads.
She fires a third and a fourth time, each time Eric's body is launched further into the corner of the cell.
Leo comes rushing through the door with Lucas, and Lucas quickly runs to me and releases me from the wall.
"You stole everything from me!" Sadia screams at Eric before she lands another shot into his chest. "You will never hurt another again!" Another shot rings out and Eric is motionless on the floor.
Leo releases Angie and quickly takes his shirt off and pulls it over her, and then he wraps her in his arms and she is gripping onto him tight as she sobs against his chest.
Another shot rings out and Sadia's hands are shaking as she unloads yet another round. When she has no more ammo she looks at me, her face void of any emotions at all and she drops the gun to the ground.
"I've waited a long time to do that," she says as she runs her hand across the scars across her neck.
Leo's POV
"I've got you, he's gone Angie, he can't hurt you," I say and she continues to cry hard against me.
"Don't let me go, okay?" she begs and I hold her tighter in my arms.
"I won't, I swear I won't" I say, but I get an odd feeling suddenly and the hair on the back of my neck and arms feels like it's standing on edge. I feel almost disconnected. I scan the room and to my surprise I see my father, his body surrounded with a soft glow and I see my uncle standing beside him. I look around the room and I know I'm the only one that can see them.
"I'm taking him with me, Leo. You never have to worry about him again. I love you son, make me proud."
The sound of his voice reminds me of mine, and tears build in my eyes seeing him again. I desperately want him to stay with me.
"Will I ever see you again?" I ask and he smiles.
"You will, it's one of your many gifts Leo. As long as the Moon Goddess allows it," he says "Tell your mother I love her."
Those are the last words I hear and they disappear, leaving my uncles body lifeless and slumped on the floor.
"Hey, come on, let's get out of here." Elise is beside me and her touch instantly calms me. She reaches up and brushes a stray tear away and I can feel her worry for me.
I carry Angie out of the room and once we're back outside I hear Leia come running and she grabs Angie into her arms.
The commotion is building and soon my mother rushes towards me as the rest of the pack returns from the run. As word spreads of my uncle's death you can hear cheers erupting across the pack lands.
"Are you okay?"
"I'm relieved. I should have killed him sooner," I say.
"How did you know to come to us?" Angie asks Sadia.
"I knew when Stefan didn't join us on the pack run that he had other intentions. The mate bond is strong, and even though he tried to hide it from me, I could still feel something was off."
"Thank you," Angie exhales and hugs Sadia as more pack members begin to surround her expressing their gratitude.
Then I see Lucas pull Stefan aside and I join them. "Why would you do that?" Lucas asks as he pulls Stefan's wrist towards him and inspects the marks that the spiked cuff made around it. "You could have gotten yourself, and Angie killed."
"I wanted to make things right, I had no idea that Angie would follow me. I thought that if I killed him it would make you see that I have no loyalty to him. Make you see that I hate myself for what I've done. I thought that maybe I could make these feelings go away and that I would stop having nightmares of what he did to Sadia. I can't stop the thoughts."
"It's going to take time," Roman says joining us. "This is a new world we are all about to begin, and despite what it seems, Lucas can't stay mad at you forever, he's not capable of it," Roman says with a grin and Lucas just huffs knowing that it's true.
"How the hell did he even get free?" Lucas asks and Luna Aria is quick to answer.
"One of the guards was beyond loyal to him. He was desperate to have Eric's approval. I'm sure he freed him and put his trust in Eric, a dangerous place that got him killed."
The rest of the evening continues to be a celebration, with music and bon fires. The children are all playing and the entire pack seems to be lighter, freer.
I sit on the steps of the pack house watching everyone dancing around. Sammi and Elise are dancing in a circle with Echo and Tai, and Reece is gently pushing Jack around to the music with them.
"They are lucky to have you," my mother says as she sits down beside me.
"I'm lucky to have them," I say. "I know that I'm going to be going back to the North, but I don't want to leave you."
"Leo, you aren't leaving me. I'm going to be traveling back and forth often. Now that I've found you I plan to be near you as often as I can. But you need to finish some things before this becomes your home."
"Mom, I don't know where I belong," I say, not realizing that Elise has left the group and come near us.
"Tonight you belong with her," My mother says and she stands up and gestures for Elise to take her place. She kisses Elise on the cheek and then joins the others.
"We have some unfinished business Alpha Leo," Elise whispers in my ear and the electric shocks I tingle and send shivers down my spine. "Come on, Lily and Gideon had their fun, now it's our turn", she grabs my hand and guides me back into the pack house and soon we are in one of the grand bedrooms.
She wastes no time in taking off her clothes and I clumsily do the same, struggling with the buttons on my shirt.
"Here," she says and she rips the shirt open and pulls it off of me. She pulls me onto the bed and strips what's left of my clothes off and runs her hand down my chest leaving me to shiver in anticipation.
She continues with soft kisses and touches me so gently, leaving my body writhing with a primal urge to take her. I'm unable to resist and I scoop her up onto my lap and I kiss her with a passion that is all consuming. She moves her lips to my neck and she bares her teeth, sinking them gently into my flesh and my body is shocked and aroused into a frenzy.
She turns her head to the side and I know what I need to do and I return the gesture, and in doing so I feel our bodies entwine and our thoughts become one.
We make love for hours, until we are both completely exhausted and she runs her hand over the scars on my chest and kisses the scar on my face that my uncle gave me.
"You can have Gideon heal these you know," she says.
"I know, I don't want him to. I want them as reminders of what happened, so that it never happens again. I don't want to erase it." I say and she doesn't say anything, she just cuddles close to me and I can feel her heartbeat against my chest.
Mike and his other friend walked out of the room to let me get changed in peace, which honestly surprised me coming from Mike! I almost expected him to stay to watch me change, but he thankfully followed the other man outside. I shuddered when I realized he probably would've stayed if the other bandit hadn't been there. I threw on the dress, feeling somewhat uneasy by its tightness, which made the velvety fabric cling onto my feminine curves. I wasn't flat, but I wasn't too curvatious either. I was just average. But still, I didn't like how body-hugging the dress was, not to mention the neckline was showing a little too much skin for my taste. Grimacing as I looked at my reflection in the mirror, I tried to pull at the fabric in an attempt to cover my chest as much as I could, but my cleavage was still apparent."Well..." I half-heartedly mumbled, running my fingers against the soft skirt. "At least, the lower part of the dress is pretty." The skirt was flowy, but thankfully not pu
What did you say about my Dad?!" I exclaimed, immediately joining the two men."That's none of your business, bitch!" Spat Mike, threateningly stepping in front of Anton."As long as it concerns my father, that is." I calmly yet firmly objected. Mike took a few steps toward me, looking down at me. Despite being shorter than him of a few inches, I coldly held his gaze without showing any fear. Honestly, I was way too infuriated and in need of answers about my father to even care about what he'd do or say."Lesson number one, bitch!" Groaned the masked man. "When I tell you something, you don't talk back to me!""Tell me what you were saying about my father." I insisted, apparently unfazed."I told you no talking back, bitch!" Yelled Mike, starting to loose his composure."Oh, you were talking to me?" I defiantly asked, raising my chin slightly. "Well I'm sorry, I didn't understand, I thought you were talking to someone named bitch! My name's Joan." Mike's shoulders shook as he gr
Shit! I just couldn't believe I had miscalculated the height of the building! Now, I was free falling, maybe to my freedom but also maybe to my death! Clawing toward the window sill, I tightly closed my eyes and readied for the hard impact. But nothing came. Instead of feeling my bones breaking in impossible angles against the concrete floor, I felt something warm, large and smooth wrap itself around my hand. Opening my eyes, I saw I wasn't falling anymore. Looking up, I met the dark brown eyes of Anton Carmichael. The latter had managed to slip his arm through the narrow window just in time to catch me."Don't let go, Miss MacCarthy!" He whisper-yelled, his voice sounding almost reassuring in the dark."As if I was going to let go!" I forced myself to tease him back, though I was scared he'd let me fall and break my neck. Actually, even though I considered struggling to break free from his grip for a few seconds, I immediately rejected that idea. Doing that would probably kill me
This is a dangerous game, but I'm gonna win it! That's with that new mantra in mind that I welcomed him inside his room. That bedroom was maybe a cage and I maybe felt like an animal in cage, but I was far to be tamed. Actually, I felt like a lion in its cage, waiting to devour whoever would dare to get inside in the naive perspective of taming it. The black wooden door was pushed open and he emerged from the shadows of the hallway."Crap!" Commented Anton, who blended in perfectly with the obscurity. "It's dark in there!" With that, the criminal switched the light on, a warm light suddenly inoundating the room. My light green eyes squinted at its sudden brightness, but I still could see him standing in the room. He seemed to have recovered from the slap I gave him, but the purple bruise left by my punch was still visible on his sharp cheekbone. His hair was a little bit messier than it was when he last left and he had removed his leather jacket. Aside from it, he wasn't very diffe
Even though I was relieved not to be locked up in a basement anymore, I was still rather unhappy to know he planned to keep me in his room. How was I supposed to escape if he always was around? Passing through his gang would already be enough of a difficult matter, if I had to worry about having him around all the time too, I wasn't close of escaping! Plus, I needed to keep in mind who I was messing with: Anton Carmichael! The uncatchable criminal who was known for his insanity and cruelty. A terrible thought twisted painfully my belly. Maybe I was too enthousiastic when I assumed his room would be any better than a basement! Oh no, I hope he wasn't planning to tie me up to his bed with some ropes and leave me in the dark all day! But being alone in the dark would still be better than..."Miss MacCarthy, this way please." Politely instructed me Anton, taking my hand to gently pull me toward another flat of stairs. I followed him toward the wooden stairs, watching the photos on the
The men who pinned me down after my first attempt to escape stood up and picked me up from the ground, holding my wrists behind my back as if I was handcuffed. They pushed me forward to urge me to start walking and I obeyed, only struggling out of instinct. I would've tried to struggle a little harder if I wasn't knocked down by what I just found out. I had been kidnapped by Anton Carmicheal, the bloodthirsty lunatic who gave almost everyone nightmares. Everyone but me. Of course, having always been raised in a coccoon, I had a peaceful sleep and a carefree lifestyle because I was always convinced I was out of evildoers grip thanks to my father's political reputation and the high-tech alarm installed in our house. "Come on, bitch!" Urged me one of my captors, his cheap beer-scented breath attacking my nostrills. "Keep going!""My name's Joan." I coldly corrected him, thoigh fear made my voice quiet. "Not bitch." I first expected him to punch me, but he didn't for some reason. They
