Breaking Up

"One, Luke knows Suzy and me quite well. Two, I don't have anyone else I can turn to for help. I wanted to ask for your help but you've come here with me once, they already know your face!"

"Trust me Ad, this has nothing to do with what happened at your house, Luke is just helping me."

"If you'd like to help, could you get in the car and hide your face, that might be easily recognizable," Leah mumbled wearily.

Adrian's facial expression seemed to change slightly, not as tense as before.

"Okay, if you guys finished with your talk, I'll be out," Luke said, glancing briefly at Adrian. Leah nodded, "Okay Luke, please be careful, I owe you forever..." Leah said sincerely. Luke smiled wryly, "No problem!" he said then hurriedly opened the car door and jumped down. Soon Adrian took his place, sitting next to Leah.
