Amelia White nodded her head, understanding the meaning of her cousin's words. They were still talking with each other when the other guests who were silently talking with each other like the buzz of the bees, suddenly halted their mouths and turned their heads to see the pair on the stairs.

Glancing at the staircase, Madam Anderson's face broke into a satisfied smile. Both her children looked so good and well-matched together like a pair of a princess and a knight as the princess' escort. She was not wrong when she decided to play a matchmaker for them. 

"Ria looks so beautiful this evening, cousin. She will surely be a beauty when she reaches our old age," Amelia could not contain herself and said. 

"It's alright if it's you, but I just want to ask, since when did I become old to you? I'm still young to play with my grandchildr
