Returning from the set, Venus Kellogg was utterly exhausted. Just as she collapsed onto the sofa, her phone buzzed with a text message.

She picked up her phone and glanced at it; it was from Malcolm Godwin.

Only four cold words: "No. 1 Mansion."

No. 1 Mansion was where Malcolm Godwin met his mistress, and Venus Kellogg was that mistress.

Even though she was completely drained, Venus Kellogg forced herself to stand up and grabbed some clothes before heading to the bathroom.

Malcolm Godwin had a severe case of OCD, and every time they met, she had to clean herself thoroughly, not even a hint of makeup allowed.

The purer, the better.

When Venus Kellogg arrived at No. 1 Mansion, Malcolm Godwin was sitting on the living room sofa, reading documents. His demeanor was naturally distinguished, exuding an aloof elegance.

He only slightly raised his head when he heard her enter, revealing half of his perfect profile.

Venus Kellogg walked over, and Malcolm Godwin finally lifted his eyelids, giving her a cold glance.

"Go change your clothes."

Venus Kellogg bit her lip and said softly, "This dress is clean; it's my first time wearing it."

Malcolm Godwin frowned slightly and repeated, "Go change."

Venus Kellogg's heart trembled.

Malcolm Godwin was capricious and unpredictable. Venus Kellogg, well-versed in his ways, did not dare to provoke him and obediently went to the dressing room to change.

The dressing room was filled with clothes, each one pristine and white.

As soon as she changed and came out, Malcolm Godwin pushed her into the bedroom without a word.

Without any further ado, Malcolm Godwin pinched her slender waist with one hand and kneaded her full, lustrous lips with the other, until they turned a vivid shade of red, then leaned down to kiss her.

Venus Kellogg submissively endured Malcolm Godwin's desires.

A night of passion.

It wasn't until the first light of dawn appeared that Malcolm Godwin released her.

Venus Kellogg passed out from exhaustion. When she woke up again, Malcolm Godwin was already fully dressed, back to his cool and noble self.

The sky outside was bright, and Venus Kellogg, still drowsy, furrowed her brows.

Surprisingly, Malcolm Godwin hadn't woken her up and kicked her out this time, which made her feel somewhat surprised.

Seeing Venus Kellogg awake, Malcolm Godwin tapped the document in front of him with his smooth index finger.

"Take this contract."

Instinctively, she wanted to ask what it was, but Malcolm Godwin continued coldly, "No. 1 Mansion has been transferred to your name, and fifty million has just been wired to your account."

Venus Kellogg tensed up, understanding Malcolm Godwin's meaning.

The warmth in the bed lingered, but a chill spread from her heart. Venus Kellogg pinched her fingertips, forcing herself to stay alert.

She had been with Malcolm Godwin for six years. Over these years, many women had offered themselves to him, including talented and beautiful heiresses, but only she had been kept by his side.

Which woman wouldn't develop some fantasies being treated like this by the esteemed President? But those were just fantasies.

She never dared to covet the position of Malcolm Godwin's wife.

She had made a lot of money from Malcolm Godwin, and she should be content.

Recognizing her place, Venus Kellogg calmed down, got dressed, and left the bed.

After fastening the last button, Venus Kellogg calmly walked over, picked up the contract, and read it.

Malcolm Godwin had given her a contract for a new drama directed by a renowned director, a resource that even big-name actors were vying for, now easily handed to her.

Venus Kellogg couldn't help but say, "President is really generous."

"Alright, thank you, President, for taking care of me these past few years. Goodbye."

Holding the contract, Venus Kellogg turned and left without a second glance.

Watching Venus Kellogg leave decisively, a strange look flashed in Malcolm Godwin's eyes.

The weather in late autumn was already quite chilly. Dressed lightly, Venus Kellogg walked alone on the street, glancing back at the villa she had visited countless times.

She hugged herself, silently bidding farewell to the years of her youth.

Back in her apartment, Venus Kellogg collapsed onto the bed, utterly exhausted. She had been busy all day yesterday, and as soon as she got home, Malcolm Godwin called her over, keeping her up all night. She had only managed to fall into a deep sleep at dawn, but she didn't dare to sleep too much, staying alert.

Now, she was both tired and sleepy, with a throbbing pain in her temples.

Her sleep was restless, alternating between hot and cold, as if she were in a world of ice and fire, unable to open her heavy eyelids.

When night fell, she woke up with a splitting headache, touching her burning forehead, realizing she had a fever.

She struggled to get up, found two cold medicine tablets, and, looking at the white pills, suddenly remembered she had forgotten to take the morning-after pill before leaving.

But she was too weak to go out and buy more, and it was unlikely she would get pregnant from just one time.

Venus Kellogg didn't worry about it, swallowed the cold medicine dry, and then lay back down heavily.

Opening her phone, a bank notification popped up. Seeing the eight-digit balance in her account, Venus Kellogg curled her lips.

Malcolm Godwin was indeed generous, even giving her such a large sum as a severance. She didn't know how to spend so much money.

Thinking about it, she felt the term "severance" was inappropriate, as she was just his kept mistress.

They had never been together, so there was no real breakup.

Even the house she lived in was bought by Malcolm Godwin, in the most expensive area, something she could never afford even if she worked for another ten years.

As a benefactor, Malcolm Godwin was more than adequate.

Venus Kellogg didn't rush to take on new roles but focused on recovering from her illness. She also needed to take care of her sick brother and couldn't afford to collapse.

Besides, with the money Malcolm Godwin gave her, she could manage for a long time, barring any unforeseen circumstances.

Just as she made up her mind, her phone rang.

Seeing the familiar number on the screen, Venus Kellogg's brows furrowed.

The melodious ringtone echoed in the empty room. Venus Kellogg knew he would keep calling if she didn't answer, so she gritted her teeth and answered.

A middle-aged man's voice came through the phone, calling, "Daughter."

Venus Kellogg remained silent, waiting for him to continue.

Sure enough, Steward Moore said, "Dad is out of money. Send some to Dad."

Venus Kellogg knew he had been gambling again. Without wasting words, she asked sternly, "How much do you need?"
