Salen was a ball of nerves as she moved into the ballroom, attracting stares from their guests. Celus' uncle smiled proudly at her when she passed him near the stage.
Being Celus' mate, she would be crowned once they were married; something that was in place as security for the Luna Queen title. She loved her mate more than anything, she just never expected something like this to happen to her.
The royal advisor stepped onto the stage, silencing the crowd. "I want to thank you all so much for joining us on this exciting day. It is now time to crown our now monarch; a time to celebrate as this happens rarely in a lifetime."
The guests cheered, excited to get a good glimpse at their future King. Saifya gave Salen a thumbs up and a bright smile, calming her racing heart and making her nerves start to retreat to the back of her mind.
