Clang. Clang. Clang. Alester's cane tapped on the metal slab. Zion was passed out on another metal slab beside me. What had Alester done to him? Guilt riddled my stomach, knowing I'm the reason he's here. Just 4 more days of this hell. Then we'll all be free. "Here we go." Alester smiled, looking into a deep purple goo. Percy slowly made his way to the bed. I backed away as best I could, but the dizziness was seriously debilitating. His hand caressed my cheek gently, remorsefully even. Zerena's P.O.V.Working on two hours of sleep again. That damn alarm woke me up before I was ready. I woke up a lot throughout the night with nightmares of Alester and Percy.
