Samantha saw how uncomfortable Allen's reaction was to her question, so she changed the subject.

"Oh, now I remember. Please give me a minute, I need to call my father real quick" she said.

"Go ahead, take your time" Allen replied.

Samantha picked up her phone, dialled her father's number.

"Well hello there 'daughter' I thought we cut of ties? do daughters who cut off ties with their father still call them on phone? he asked.

Samantha rolled her eyes at her father's questions. She answered her father's questions with questions of her own.

"Do fathers whose daughter cut of ties with, still visit their daughter's house unannounced? or even pick up their calls?
