Chapter 2

Jane's P.O.V

"Thank you Doctor Roberts for everything,my husband will be so happy to hear the news " I tell the middle aged woman.

"I'm glad I could help you. Just give me a call when you take the test. Don't forget to use the medicine " she says before handing me the prescription. 

I smile and handed them over to my personal maid Erica who has a faint smile on her face.

I'm in a good mood today'. I think to myself.

I thank her once more before taking my leave. 

My maid brings my phone to me as we walk through the parking lot towards my car.

"Your mom is on the phone ma'am" she says

"Thanks"I tell her before taking the phone from her,she looked at me in surprise.

What? It isn't the first time I have said something nice to her. I tell her nice things all the time so why is she surprised.

"Hi mummy"I say cheerfully

"Hey baby,how are you? How was the doctors appointment?" she bombards me with questions.

" I'm fine mummy. Doctor Roberts says everything is fine I just need to buy some medicines and I'll conceive in no time" I tell her happily and she squeals in joy.

"Ohhhh...I knew it. Doctor Roberts is the best..I am so happy for you darling" she giggles.

"I'm happy mummy,I can finally become a mother. I can't wait to tell Flynn about it" I tell her happily.

" Oh I can't wait to tell your father. Oh before I forget you and Flynn have to be here tonight" she says and I could hear the sound of plates and pots clashing.

"Why? Is something wrong?" I ask 

"No my dear, your brother is bringing his girlfriend to meet us for the first time and we need to support him" she tells me and I  gasp in surprise.

"Jayden has a girlfriend!" I say in surprise

"Yh..he hasn't told you about her yet"she also asks in surprise

" No,no, no,we normally talk about his college life but he never mentioned her" I say in a hurt tone,I can't believe he didn't tell me about her.

My brother and I are very close,we tell each other almost everything,he is someone I trust more than anyone in the world and apparently I'm not his.

"Oh don't be sad love, maybe he forgot, that is all" mom tries to cheer me up.

" So what time should we be there" I ask

"5pm, then he'll be here. Also don't ask things about her parents or something,Jay says she lost her mom at a very young age and her dad is a sore topic " she tells me.

"Okay mummy,I'll Inform Flynn. I love you,see you later "

"Love you too baby. Bye " she says and I hung up.

I sent Flynn a text to meet me at my office so we could go together. He later replies and I smile.

We arrived at my office after purchasing my drugs and I asked Erica to head home I'll be riding with Flynn.

"Hey beautiful,how was the appointment?" Mira asks when I entered office.

"It went well..just hoping for a  good news" I smile lightly.

I love Mira but it is not everything in my marriage I tell her.

We continued to chit chat about other things and then had some work done.

When it was 4pm Flynn sent me a text saying he was at the gate.

"Gotta go girl...I'll see you tomorrow" I tell Mira

"Mr. Perfect is here already"she says rolling her eyes.

"Miraaa...I told you to be nice to him,he is my husband,you have to accept him" I say with a tired sigh.

"Okay, okay,sorry, Mr. Halan is here already" she says and I giggle.

I waved her goodbye and went out to my waiting husband.

"Hey baby" I whisper kissing him tenderly once I entered the car.

"Hey my love,I missed you. How was the doctor's?" he asks as we broke the kiss.

I tell him everything that happened and he was escalated,he said we will get on it once we get home and I couldn't wait.

I told him about my brother not telling me about his girlfriend and how hurt I was. He told me maybe he had his reasons and I should listen to side before getting into conclusion. See, this is why I love him. He knows the right things to say at the right time.

The drive to my parent's place was 45 minutes,so we arrived before time.

"Mummy we are here?" I shouted as soon as I entered the mansion and it echoes everywhere.

"Goofy as always my little princess"I hear my dad say as he emerges from his study room along with my mom. She looks a bit weird and flushed,her hair is messy and.....my eyes widen as I realized what they were doing.

"Really daddy, really"I groan pointing at mummy.

" Hey,if I need my wife, I can and I will have her, nothing will stop me" he says smirking at a flushed mom.

Dad still looks young with all his abs and sharp jaw. He hasn't aged a day, except for the small strands of grey hair mixed with the  black ones.

Mom is a petite Latina woman,she still looks like a model with all her flat tummy and big boobs with curves at the right places.

"Oh I'm happy you are here, Jayden and Esperanza will be here in no time" she giggles.

"Well you need to get ready" I say pointing to her appearance,she blushed lightly before running upstairs. Not before dad hitting her ass.

"Daddy!" I groan leaving him alone with Flynn,they'll start talking business and I don't want to hear it.

I went to the kitchen to get some fruit when I heard footsteps from the hallway.

I immediately put the fruit bowl down and walk to the front door way.

I see my brother with his arms around a girl's waist. A very beautiful girl at that.

"Well,well,well,well,well,look who we have here" I say with the famous Jones smirk.
