The next morning, sunlight pierced through the glass floor-to-ceiling windows of the Vance Tower boardroom. A tense atmosphere blanketed the room as members of the board sat around the long mahogany table, whispering among themselves.

At the head of the table sat Don Gustavo, his gold-headed cane resting against his chair. To his left was Marcus Vance, leaning back with a smug, victorious smile while sipping his morning espresso.

The heavy double doors swung open, and Ezekiel stepped inside.

The romantic tension on the balcony vanished instantly, replaced by a cold, deadly seriousness.Ezekiel stepped back, his expression turning into steel as he took the tablet from Secretary Yang. Sienna moved to his side, her eyes scanning the encrypted satellite report flashing across the screen. Two of the Javier Group’s massive container vessels—carrying high-value tech cargo—had been forced off course near international waters. The GPS tracking dots flickered ominously on the digital map, hovering right near the boundary of contested maritime territories."Who is claiming responsibility for this?" Sienna asked, her voice dropping into an authoritative, razor-sharp tone that demanded immediate answers."The Red Anchor Syndicate," Secretary Yang answered grimly, adjusting his glasses as he swiped to the dossier. "They are a rogue maritime cartel that operates in the grey zones of the international trade routes. They’re claiming that your late father owed them a massive protection

The scandal of Marcus’s public arrest at the gala sent the remaining dissenters into absolute silence. By midnight, the grand ballroom had emptied, leaving only the soft glow of crystal chandeliers illuminating the polished marble floors.Sienna stood on the private balcony of the hotel suite, the cool night breeze playing with the hem of her crimson gown. Below, the city lights stretched out like a sea of glowing stars.A warm, heavy weight blanketed her shoulders. Sienna looked down to see Ezekiel placing his tuxedo jacket around her frame."You'll catch a cold," Ezekiel said softly, stepping up beside her and resting his hands on the stone railing."Thank you," Sienna replied, wrapping the jacket tighter around herself. It carried his faint, intoxicating scent of sandalwood and rain. "It feels surreal. Marcus is in custody, Chloe is bankrupt, and Tristan is ruined. Everything we set out to do is finished.""Not everything," Ezekiel corrected, turning his head to gaze down at h

The grand ballroom of the St. Regis Hotel was draped in gold and crystal, glowing under the light of massive chandeliers. The city’s elite—billionaires, politicians, and media moguls—chattered softly, sipping vintage champagne as string quartets played in the background. When the double doors opened, a sudden wave of hush swept through the room.Ezekiel Vance stepped in, looking breathtakingly handsome in a bespoke midnight-blue tuxedo. Beside him, Sienna Javier was an absolute vision. She wore a floor-length crimson gown with a daring side slit and a low-cut back. Around her neck sat a vintage sapphire necklace—a Vance family heirloom given directly by Don Gustavo himself.Together, they radiated pure power and unyielding authority."Look at them," a prominent board member whispered to his associate. "They survived the elevator sabotage and locked down the shipping routes in less than a week.""Marcus doesn't stand a chance," another added in a hushed tone.Sienna held Ezekiel’

The press conference ended in an absolute frenzy, but inside the private elevator rising toward the executive suite, silence descended like a heavy curtain.Sienna stood near the mirrored wall, her cheeks still burning from the intense kiss Ezekiel had forced upon her in front of a hundred flashing cameras. She looked down at her gloved hands, trying to calm the uneven beating of her heart.Ezekiel loosened his black silk tie, his posture relaxed as he leaned against the opposite wall. His silver eyes tracked her every movement with a dark, predatory gaze."You're quiet," Ezekiel observed, his deep voice smooth and velvet-soft. "Are you angry about the kiss, Mrs. Vance?"Sienna snapped her head up, meeting his gaze. "That wasn't part of the plan, Ezekiel. The media statement was enough to solidify our alliance. You didn't have to display... whatever that was.""It was necessary," Ezekiel replied simply, stepping closer to her until his shadow completely enveloped her frame. "Tris

The news of Don Gustavo’s official backing sent shockwaves across the financial district by sunrise. Every major business journal carried the same front-page headline: Ezekiel Vance Named Permanent Chairman of Vance Empire; Announces Grand Marriage to Sienna Javier.Inside the luxurious penthouse master suite, Sienna stood before a floor-to-ceiling mirror. A team of high-end stylists zipped up a stunning, off-the-shoulder emerald green silk gown that clung perfectly to her curves, complementing her pale skin. The bedroom door opened, and Ezekiel walked in. He wore a crisp, tailored black tuxedo that highlighted his broad shoulders and towering stature. He gestured for the stylists to leave, and the room fell into an intimate silence.Ezekiel walked up behind Sienna, looking at her reflection in the glass. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a velvet box. Opening it, he revealed a mesmerizing twelve-carat tear-drop diamond ring that caught the morning light.Sienna’s breath h

The faint scraping noise above the elevator cab grew louder, accompanied by the sharp smell of burning electrical wires. Someone was manually severing the secondary backup cables from the top hatch.Ezekiel didn't hesitate. He stripped off his tailored suit jacket, tossed it aside, and reached up toward the emergency maintenance hatch on the ceiling of the cab. With a powerful grunt, he forced the metal hatch open, sending a shower of dust and sparks cascading down into the darkness."Stay right behind me," Ezekiel commanded, his voice dark and brimming with danger. He pulled himself up through the ceiling opening with effortless strength, stepping onto the top of the elevator cab inside the hollow steel shaft. He extended his hand down to Sienna. "Give me your hands."Sienna kicked off her designer heels without a second thought. She grabbed Ezekiel’s wrists, and in one fluid, powerful motion, he hoisted her up into the dimly lit shaft beside him.Looking up into the shadowy aby
