Chapter 12: Hans Lee

The afternoon came on that same day. Everly laid in bed as she watched the scenery outside. It was still bright and the snow ceased to fall. An IV line is connected to her arm, which made it harder for her to move carelessly.

She had noticed earlier that the room she was in was well-toned and very huge. There's a couch on the other side of the room where guests can rest and there's a wide glass window on her left side. Because the curtains were opened, she could see the scenery.

Her bed was slightly elevated so she could watch the people in the garden in the hospital. She glanced and looked towards the door when it suddenly opened. It was her manager who entered bringing a plastic bag and fruit in her hands. "I'm back."

Everly made a slight smile. Manager Kim walked toward her and gave her a cup. "What is this?"

"It's soya milk. Drink it before it gets cold. I heard it's nutritious for you. Are you hungry?" Manager Kim asked.
