Chapter sixteen

I woke up with a massive headache, I went to the kitchen to get some pain killers, I took two pills with water then searched for food but couldn't find any so I quickly made some noodles and boiled one egg, I prayed silently for mom not to come to catch me, it'll be good to avoid her from now on but she's the one who gives me transport fare so I can't avoid her but I can try.

I finished making the noodles and served it on a plate after peeling the boiled egg then I washed the pot I used, I grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge and sprinted to my room, I ate quickly almost having indigestion, I finished my lunch and kept the plate under the bed and drank some water.

"What were you doing in my kitchen?" Mom asked as she barged into my room.

"Nothing," I said innocently.

"You were cooking something to eat right?"

"No, I wasn't." I denied quickly.

"I don't want to ever see your disgusting face in my kitchen, you being in my kitchen is no different from having garbage dumped in it,
