Last Night

'Where am I?'

'Why am I naked?'

'Who is this man?'

'He isn't Max.'

'Then why am I on this bed, all naked with him?'

'Kiara!!! Think fast! What actually happened last night?'

"I can't believe tomorrow is your engagement day Kiara. When did you become this old to actually think about getting married? Tomorrow you will become a Woman, not a girl but a woman." Cathy placed both her palms on Kiara's cheeks with a fake teary face.

Kiara sighed hearing her best friend, Cathy's, nonstop filmy dialogues. "Don't be so dramatic Cathy. It's not like I am getting married tomorrow. It's just an engagement. I still have a year before marriage."

Cathy chuckled and left her cheeks. Clinking her wine glass to her, she gave a toast. "Congratulations girl. You finally found someone you really wanted."

Kiara drank another glass of wine in one go. Taking one deep breath she took another glass directly from the server and nodded her head in answer.

"Yes. I am kinda grateful that I found Max. I really didn't want to get married any time soon. But my grandfather was really adamant. Luckily Max asked me out. And he perfectly matched my ideal type of boyfriend."

"Ahh... Your ideal type. How can I forget about that? God, I never thought that you would ever be able to find someone like that. Don't mind but I still find it hard to believe that Max is actually like that." Cathy said and shrugged her shoulders honestly.

Kiara helplessly shook her head. It's not something new for her to hear this from Cathy. From the very start, Cathy never believed Max. From time to time she would point out all Max's shortcomings. She couldn't believe that a man with no shortcomings would actually exist.

"Max is actually like that Cathy. He genuinely respects women or human life. He is independent. He supports me. He cares for me. He is always gentle and sweet to me. He talks about feelings and emotions. I really really like him."

"What about love?" Cathy right away asked.

Hearing that question Kiara's hand stopped in the middle of the air. Her eyes wavered with inexplicable feelings. That question wasn't a surprise to her either. It was something she was asking herself for a very long time.

Max is everything she always wanted or desired. He is way more perfect than an ideal man in fact. But for unknown reasons, Kiara never felt like falling for Max with no restraint.

In fact, all she felt was restraint from her heart towards Max. Restraint to the point that she never allowed Max to kiss her even. As if it wasn't for him.

But how could she say all this out? It's very embarrassing to her.

With a forceful smile, she looked at her best friend. That smile alone answered all Cathy's questions at once. With a sigh, she asked no more questions.

After a few minutes of silence, Cathy spoke again. "So girl, what are you planning on doing today? Although it isn't your bachelorette party, but, still we gotta do something more than drinking right?"

"Oh definitely no. I know how bad your tolerance is, so let's just stay here. This room is perfect." Kiara immediately shook her head in denial.

"What nonsense. My guards are outside and they will take care of me. So let's go all out. We need to dance man."

"No way Cathy. It's not safe."

"Hey don't be a pussy. Get up." Saying that Cathy held Kiara's hand and pulled her outside the room. Walking downstairs, they both joined the dance floor.

Where Cathy's tolerance wasn't good, Kiara had a very good tolerance and that's why she didn't bother to bring her guards inside the club with her.

From the bar, Cathy ordered another drink for both of them.

Back to the present...

"What happened after that? We had a few drinks. That's it. But-" Kiara said. "-it's impossible for me to get drunk just by those couple of drinks. Until or unless... I was intoxicated by someone purposely."

She looked sideways at that man. Because his back was facing her, she wasn't able to see his face. However, at that moment it wasn't that important to her. Today is her engagement and she is here with another man.

She was confused. She didn't want to lose Max, but that doesn't mean that she would lie to Max about this. She can't wrong him. So should she cancel the engagement?

She didn't know the identity of the man beside her, however, right now it was best for her to leave the room before he woke up.

Slowly getting up from the bed, she took her clothes from the floor and wore them as fast as she could. Her back hurts but got no time to care about it. Taking her bag, she put her mask on.

Looking back at the man for one last time she exhaled deeply.

Never in the world did she ever think that she would lose her virginity to some loose man. While she was saving herself for her wedding night, she actually lost herself in a drunken state.

She was regretting each and every single second of last night. Just when the thought about last night came to her, another memory of last night struck her.

Last night...

"Ma'am this is your room key sent by Mr. Max Miller. He would like to meet you there."

"Max? He... is here... too?" Kiara tried her best to open her eyes while speaking.

"Yes ma'am. He booked a room too. He would like to meet you there." The server repeated his words.

"Hey, Cathy! You.... heard him? My soon... to be fiance... is here. He is here for me, right?" Kiara happily asked that server.

"Yes ma'am. He is waiting for you in that room."

"Hihihi." Kiara happily giggled. Patting Cathy's back she tried to wake her up. "Hey get up. I need to go."

"..."

"Cathy!"

"..."

"Aaa, you are so... Annoying." Saying that Kiara waved her hands for her guards to come for Cathy.

"Take her back." Kiara ordered.

"And ma'am you?" One of the guards asked.

"I can take care of myself." Kiara proudly commented.

"But ma'am-"

"My fiance is here. Don't worry." Kiara smirked.

Those guards still doubted but Kiara's strict look made them walk out of the club while carrying Cathy with them.

"So where- huh? Where did the waiter go?" Kiara pouted as she looked around the arena. "So where should i -"

Back to present

"What kind of memory is this? Why would Max call me here? Even if he did, who is this man here then? Kiara? What actually happened last night? Why am I so fucked up?"
