The first rays of sunlight filtered through Tristan's curtains, bathing the room in soft light. Under the sheets, their bodies pressed together in a lazy embrace. Aiden's head rested on Tristan's chest, their breaths in sync.

"Awake or not?" Tristan whispered into Aiden’s ear, his voice a mix of teasing and affection.

Aiden groaned, shifting slightly. "I'm not, I'm weak to move,” he muttered, his eyes still closed.

"Don’t you want to go to school?" Tristan asked softly.

Aiden opened one eye, the corner of his mouth twitching into a half-smile. "Maybe this is why it’s hard to date someone so intelligent."

Tristan chuckled softly, his hand brushing over Aiden’s back. His amusement, however, vanished the moment he heard his name called from downstairs.

It was his mother’s voice.

"Oh no..." Tristan panicked, making Aiden raise a brow, his eyes still half-closed.

"What?"
