Ian
I rushed out of the house with my car. I drove myself to the hospital, where I was asked to come and see her.
When I got there, I forgot to turn off the car's engine. I just closed the door and rushed inside.
I couldn't find any traces of her, and so I moved to meet those medical records officers at the front desk.
"Hello, I was told that a young lady was moved into this hospital."
"A young lady? What's her name?"
"Iris McCarthy"
They searched in their file, but it was taking too long, which got me so uncomfortable.
"What is going on? She was just brought in here a few minutes ago, not even up to an hour."
The record officer who was attending to me shook her head negatively. "Sorry, sir, but there is no such name here. The last person that was brought inside here was a man."
