Chapter 45: New Journey

I was startled, worried I'd be discovered. I asked myself if I hadn't overheard Ivor's conversation and accidentally dropped the clip folder of contracts. In just two seconds, I got the answer for myself.

“It's me, Lia,” I shouted and bent down to pick up the contracts, which were clamped in the clip folder.
