her doppelganger.
I slowly opened my eyes and reached over to turn off the alarm. It was time to start my morning routine, just like any other day. I hopped into the shower and let the hot water wash away the sleepiness. After getting dressed, I looked in the mirror and took a deep breath. It was time to face the day.I headed out the door and started walking to Tommy's Restaurant. The early morning air was crisp and cool, and the sun was just beginning to rise. I took in the sights and sounds of the city as I made my way to the restaurant. As I walked up to the front door of the restaurant, I took a moment to collect myself. I straightened my clothes and ran my fingers through my hair. I wanted to make a good impression. Taking a deep breath, I opened the door and walked inside. The hostess greeted me with a warm smile. "Good morning! How can I help you?" she asked. And I told her I was here for an interview with Mr. Tommy, the owner of the restaurant. She smiled and said, "He's expecting you. Please

JAMES.The warehouse was dark and empty, except for me and my car. I stepped out into the cool night air, and looked around. Something felt off, like there was a bad vibe in the air. I was there to make an exchange - gold for arms - but I couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. Then, another car pulled up. I could see a silhouette in the driver's seat, but I couldn't make out who it was. The car door opened, and a man stepped out.The man approached me slowly, and I could see that it was Slovaski. He had a reputation for being ruthless and dangerous, and I was wary of him. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small box, placing it on the hood of my car. I could tell by the weight of it that it was gold. He reached for the box of arms that I had brought, but I hesitated. Something felt off, and I wasn't sure I could trust him. "What's wrong?" Slovaski asked, his voice low and menacing. "You said you had the goods. Where are they?""I have the box," I said, my voice e

JAMESAs we continued to drive away from the warehouse, I felt my strength slowly returning. The pain in my shoulder was still there, but it was starting to feel more manageable. My head was clearing, and I was starting to think more clearly. But I still had no idea what was going on, or what we should do next."What the hell just happened back there?" I asked Diego, my voice hoarse."I know it's a lot to take in," Deigo said, glancing over at me. "But I need you to know that we're in serious trouble. And we need to figure out what to do next. We're not out of danger yet." His voice was urgent, but also reassuring. He seemed to be completely focused on getting us to safety. "I promise I'll explain everything in detail once we're in a better position. For now, I just need you to trust me."I took a moment to let his words sink in. Then I looked at him and nodded."Okay, let's figure this out," Deigo said, his voice firm but calm. "First, we need to get you some medical attention. That b

BETHEL SAWYER.I sat at my desk, gazing out the window. The sun had dipped below the horizon, casting a deep orange glow across the city. I didn't care about the beauty of the sunset, though. My mind was focused solely on my mission. I was a man on a mission, and I would stop at nothing to achieve my goal. I was ruthless, cold-hearted, and calculating. Nothing would stand in my way. As I sat there, waiting for the call that would confirm my success, I felt a sense of calm satisfaction. As the phone rang, I felt a moment of anticipation. I had no doubt that the voice on the other end would confirm my success. After all, I had put months of careful planning into this mission. I had anticipated every possible outcome, and I was certain that I had covered all the bases. But then, the voice on the other end spoke, The plan had failed, and James was still alive. How could this have happened? My first instinct was to lash out, to release my frustration and anger. I hurled the phone across the

JAMES SALVATORE."Boss, we have a situation," Diego said, walking into my study. His face was serious, and I could tell he had bad news. I sat up straighter, my mind already spinning with possibilities. "What is it?" I asked, my voice steady and calm."One of our bars in downtown is being harassed by a rival gang," Diego said. "They're causing trouble and scaring away customers. If we don't do something, we could lose a lot of money."I took a deep breath, trying to remain level-headed. "We can't let that happen," I said."I agree," Diego said. "Layla and a few of our best men are o their way to the bar. They're keeping an eye on things, but we need to take action before this escalates. Should we send in reinforcements?"I thought for a moment, considering our options. "No," I said. "We don't want to start a war. But we do need to send a message."I decided to go myself. I needed to see the situation for myself, and I wanted to send a clear message to this rival gang. So, I gathered my

BETHEL SAWYER.I watched in disbelief as James rushed to help the woman, knocking the man who was harassing her to the ground. Who was this woman, and why was James so eager to defend her?As the woman turned to face James, I felt my breath catch in my throat. I recognized her immediately - it was Melissa, the woman who had rejected me all those years ago. I had never forgotten her face, or the pain of her rejection. And now, here she was, standing in front of me again.A thousand thoughts raced through my mind, each more complicated than the last. I wondered how was she still alive. "No it can't be her. It has to be a look alike" I couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions - anger, jealously, and something else I couldn't quite put my finger on. ***FLASHBACK**I watched Melissa kneel before me, I felt nothing but disgust. This woman, who I had loved so deeply, had betrayed me. I had taken her in when she had nothing, and in return, she had taken everything fr

Thanks For Reading.ALICIA BAILEY.As I walked into the restaurant, I could already tell that something was off. The manager was standing by the front door, his face tight with irritation. "You're late," he said, his voice stern. "You know we have a zero tolerance policy for tardiness."I apologized and tried to explain that I had gotten stuck in traffic, but he wouldn't hear it. "I don't want to hear excuses," he said. "Just get to work."He pointed to a table in the corner, and I could see that it was already occupied by a man in a suit."Good afternoon, sir," I said, giving him my best server's smile. "Welcome to Tommy's. Can I start you off with something to drink?"But the man just looked at me, a quizzical expression on his face. "Do I know you?" he asked, his vo

I opened my eyes and realized that I was in a basement. The air smelled musty and a little sour, like cigarettes and something unpleasant that I couldn't identify. I was so afraid. My heart was pounding in my chest and I felt a lump in my throat. I tried to take deep breaths, but it was hard to focus on anything except the fear. The door opened, and a man walked in. He was tall and well-dressed, and he looked at me with a sort of predatory gaze. It made me feel even more afraid."Hello, my dear," the man said, his voice smooth and oily. "I'm so glad to finally meet you in person."He reached out a hand to touch my face, but I jerked away. I wasn't about to let this man touch me, no matter what he had in mind. I tried to put as much distance between us as I could. But the room was small, and I didn't have anywhere to go."Don't be like that," he said, his tone still smooth.I tried to sound as strong and confident as I could. "I don't know who you are, or what you want from me," I said

Saving Alicia.
JAMES SALVATORE.Diego burst in the door. "Sir, we have a situation," he said, his face pale. "Alicia has been kidnapped."I rushed to the armory, grabbing my gun and ammo. I could feel my pulse racing, and my mind was filled with thoughts of what might be happening to Alicia. I knew Sawyer was a dangerous man, and I couldn't bear the thought of what he might be doing to her. I had to get to her as soon as possible.I ran to the garage, where my car was waiting when Layla rushed to me."JAMES! Wait" She shouted to stop me from entering the car. "We don't have any plans and we certainly can barge in there and demand her like an alcohol. Sawyer's smart so he'll probably figure you reacting like this especially when you displayed an affection show for him the other day".Oka "We're going to get Alicia back, and we're going to bring down Sawyer while we're at it. That's the plan" I said, coldly. "Are you sure that's a good idea?" Layla asked, her brow furrowed in concern. "Sawyer's a pow

JAMES SALVATORE.Alicia walked into the study, and my heart skipped a beat. I tried to keep my face neutral, but inside I was a mess of emotions. I had saved her life, and now she was standing in front of me, and I didn't know what to say. But before I could speak, she opened her mouth and said, "Thank you..."Alicia was wearing a lacy nightgown that left little to the imagination. The fabric clung to her curves, accentuating every line and contour of her body. I could feel my pulse quicken as I looked at her, and my mind was racing with all the possibilities of what might happen next. But then I remembered that she was here to thank me, and I tried to clear my mind and focus on what was happening in the moment. As I tried to compose myself, Alicia's gaze met mine. I could see the gratitude in her eyes, but I could also sense that she was nervous. Her hands were trembling slightly, and she was shifting her weight from one foot to the other. I wanted to say something to put her at ease
