I watched in disbelief as James rushed to help the woman, knocking the man who was harassing her to the ground. Who was this woman, and why was James so eager to defend her?

As the woman turned to face James, I felt my breath catch in my throat. I recognized her immediately - it was Melissa, the woman who had rejected me all those years ago. I had never forgotten her face, or the pain of her rejection. And now, here she was, standing in front of me again.

A thousand thoughts raced through my mind, each more complicated than the last. I wondered how was she still alive. "No it can't be her. It has to be a look alike" I couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions - anger, jealously, and something else I couldn't quite put my finger on.
