Chapter 38

Author's POV

When he enters the bedroom, his eyes land on Angela who is sobbing sitting on the bed.

He slowly walked towards her direction when hearing the sound of footsteps in the bedroom. She raises her head instantly and looks towards the door's direction.

Eric stopped in his place and looked at her with a mixed expression. His eyes collided with her painful eyes.

His breathing turned heavy as he felt his chest tightened.

However, watching him, her face turned furious with rage. She instantly stood up from the bed.

"You!"

"What the hell are you doing here?"

"Angela…" He hesitated to hear her.

"Stop following me and go away from here!" She announced and pointed her finger outside the door.

"I need to talk…" Eric asserted.

However, Angela turned her back in front of him and said, "There is nothing to talk about. You already missed your chance…"

More than being ignored by him, Angela was hurt that he didn't even try to stop her when she talked about leaving him and kept watching
