Marcus's POV

"I can barely feel her pulse," said the Druid.

His words were getting gloomier by the minute. 

"She has several puncture wounds, and some of these cuts are pretty deep. Lost a lot of blood, chances are, she may not survive."

This was the last thing I wanted to hear. Max had a punctured lung and broken ribs. Logan's condition was the most critical of all. He examined him for a long time.

"Jeez! What kind of an animal are we talking about? Even his bones are cut. The impact must be quite bad."

He looked up at me with a bleak expression and said, "I am sorry. Neither of your friends can be saved, and Allena's condition is also doubtful. I don't have the equipment and facilities to keep them going. We need electricity and many other things for all that to happen."
