A ray of sun slipped through the curtains, kissing Daria’s skin and eyes.

Her eyes fluttered open, the aroma of freshly baked chocolate bread and chamomile tea tingled her nose.

Her lips curled in a smile as she spotted the food trolley on the side of the bed, but she couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw the volume of food in front of her.

“Oh my” she muttered, getting out of bed she drew the trolley closer admiring its contents.

Then she noticed the note on the side, “a special meal for the best and only woman in my life” she read the note and her heart fluttered.

She covered her mouth with her hands to check her breath, her nose wrinkled.

“Oh well” she shrugged her shoulders, and picked up the bread.

“Are you about to eat without brushing your teeth” Nicholas voice came from behind her, startling her.

Daria dropped the bread immediately as she became self conscious.
