(Prince Nyx POV)
I watched as she runs around the clinic tending to her patients. It's been a week since her birthday and it has been the best time of my life.
She is perfect. She is not like the other girls I have seen. During this one week, we got to know each other even more. I started to fall more and more in love with her and it frightens me.
We promised each other, we will face every trouble and risk together but how far? I don’t want her to get hurt. I don’t want her to lose more than what she already lost.
She deserves happiness and I'm the one who is denying that. During these days I also learned about the true people of this planet. The citizens of earth.
How much they are suffering. How must they lose?&

Chapter 17 (Isabella POV) “Here you go” I said as I tied the bandage around the 10-year-old’s hand. “Thank you, Miss” he said as I nod. “If he has pain, just give him this medicine. And take this morning and night for a week.” I said as I handed the mother his prescription. “Bye!” the child said as he walked out the clinic with the mother. I took the cotton and put in the waste and started cleaning the place. I yawned and shook my head, trying to push the sleep away. I hadn’t slept yesterday. I couldn’t. Whenever I close my eyes, my mind is filled with Nyx. I know I won’t rest peacefully until I make sure he is safe. My eyes once again fell on the clock. An hour more and I will be able to meet him. The thought of seeing him made my heart skip a beat. “Do you think she is ok?” A voice came from behind making me roll my eyes. “I am perfectly fine” I said as I looked back at Nancy and Jaylen making them freeze. “It’s ok guys. I am really fine.” I said as they nod.

Chapter 18 (Isabella POV) It has been a week since our first meeting in the cave. Ever since then we meet every day at the same time. We even arranged a meeting in the night on the days I don’t have to shift. Those nights are mostly risky for me since I am sneaking out at the forbidden hour. But I guess it’s worth the risk. (Isabella POV)My eyes widen as I looked at the person in front of me.He wore a somewhat similar uniform as Nyx. They seem to share the same pale skin and also the same bright light blue eyes. The only thing different was that instead of whitish silver hair like a shade of very light brown ones."How could you betray us by been with this human?!" he shouted as he lunged at Nyx. Nyx seemed hesitant but he still took out his weapon and ran forward blocking the other's attack.I watch in horror as the two kept moving in lightning speed making it impossible for me to keep pace.
