Ken squeezed hard his eyes, he felt an externally hard pain in his head. He opened his eyes but he couldn't. He can hear some sounds, like someone was crying, someone talking.
He tried to open his eyes again, and he saw a very dreadful scene in front of him. His mother was sitting on a chair, helplessly looking towards him only, like she was just waiting for him to open his eyes. Like her life depends on this. He saw her eyes widened when she realised he was getting conscious, he blinked twice before trying to get up.
He moved his hand but he couldn't. Then he understood his hands and legs were tied with a rope, he was tied to a chair in the middle of his own house. It didn't take him much time to realise it, he found someone's gaze on him.

He opened his jacket and threw it on the couch in the corner of the room. He sat on his chair, to listen to some work required details from Fred and one of his men who were already present there They were just waiting for him to report him about the work he gave them.He gestured to Fred to continue, he nodded keeping his hands on his back."I have my men still watching over Brown's. Everything is under control." He informed him. As he has ordered them to always have a look at them, and right now they are in hospital. They also need his support, now they are his relatives, his wife's family. It's his responsibility to look after them.
