"She's still been avoiding me oo Serwaa," Tenison said through the phone.

"Kwame, s3 me Kae s3(Kwame I said it ). She's just an opportunist, she just wants your money and fame. The current job she's doing kraa, her sugar daddy got it for her, unlike some of us who have suffered in life." She added smiling.

"Wow!" He said. He was dumbfounded at the information he had gotten from her friend.

" Yes, Kwame I told you like you but you aren't giving me a chance," Serwaa said thinking she had twisted Kwame's mind against his friend

Kwaasia baa (foolish woman), you think you're wise er?, I'd show you. Kwame thought to himself while Serwaa was yabbying on.

I miss Kwame oo. Its been a while I hang out with him. Today being a Saturday, let me pay him a surprise visit. Imelda thought to herself as she showered and then dressed in black jeans and a maroon spaghetti top pairing it with gladiator sandals. She picked her purse, phone, and keys as she headed out.

"Your place is beautiful o," Serwaa added as Kwame offered her a glass of juice.

"Thank you obaa hemmaa (queen)" He flattered. He joined her on the couch as they cuddled watching tv.

Imelda met Maakua at the porch playing by herself. "Maakua, where's daddy?" She questioned.

"He's inside with attie Serwaa." The girl confessed continuing with what she was doing.

Serwaa again? She thought as she went inside with Maakua. She prepared food for the little girl since she said she hadn't eaten.

A couple of minutes later, Kwame emerged out of his room bare-chested wearing shorts hanging dangerously below his waist. Serwaa followed suit wearing a short nightie. Maakua had fallen asleep and Imelda had taken to her room.

"What are you doing here?" He asked Imelda.

"I came to see you, Kwame." She smiled ignoring the glares Serwaa sent her.

"As you can see, I have a guest. Slay mama, Slay queen." He insulted.

"Excuse you, Kwame, with all due respect I won't have you insult me." She said firmly.

"Okay, madam, leave my house and  don't want to see your two left legs here again." He ordered.

"Because of this one? This two-timing liar of a friend. I wish you all the best." Imelda added walking off.

"My friend get out!" Serwaa added her voice as Imelda left.

Efia Serwaa, how could she, after all, I told her of how felt for Kwame. Did she go ahead to betray me?  After all, I did for her? Suro nipa oo(Fear people). She thought as the Uber parked in front of her house.

"Medaasɛ (thank you)." She told the driver paying him as she entered her compound.

" I told you to be careful of that one o. But you wouldn't listen to me, and now see what has happened." Abena scolded her friend and colleague.

"Abena, the fact he chose her won't spoil the wonderful friendship I have with him or his daughter, life is too short to lose good people." She said as Abena got up to prepare food for both of them.

Abena had recently moved to Imelda's house to rent an apartment. They were next-door neighbours and their friendship was beginning to bloom.

"Attie!" Maakua ran to hug her teacher as her father set her down. "Maakua baby, how was your weekend?" She asked her little friend.

"Fine." She said as she ran into the class.

"Hope you're doing well?" Tension inquired.

"I'm good and you?" She asked.

"I'm well, do have a nice day Imelda." He added. "Now its no more Akosua, you, have a nice day too Kwame." She smiled as she walked off.

"Eii, Serwaa Papabi, my only bɛbɛ". The minister greeted. " Musa, how are you doing ?" She asked chewing gum lying on her bed.

"My love, I'm fine o and you?" He inquired.

"I'm good, I just miss you." She added rolling her eyes as they talked on.

"Don't worry er, the Gh¢50,000.00 will be wired into your account in a few seconds." The minister said.

"Aw, darling I love you too much, thank you." She happily said as she had an alert on her phone.

"I guess I'm seeing you this weekend ?" He asked.

"Of course you are, I'd be at the location on Friday night. She added as a matter of fact.

"Alright, I'd talk to you later." He added hanging up as Serwaa jumped up and down on her bed.

Kwame no dieɛ, me de no so sɔ adeɛ de ayɛ adeɛ( As for Kwame I'm just using him to pass time and of course for his money.) She thought to herself smirking.

"Can I offer you a ride ?" He asked as he went to pick Maakua from school. Recently, she had become the last pupil to leave for home.

"It's fine, I'd pick a taxi." She added as Maakua entered the car.

"We're all going the same way, just let me drop you, ladies." Kwame insisted as Abena nudged her friend convincing her with her eyes.

"Alright." She agreed as they entered the car and he drove off.

A few hours later, he dropped them in front of their gate as Abena headed inside. Maakua was fast asleep.

"Thanks, you guys should head home so she could have a bath and rest since she has already eaten," Imelda said.

"Okay Madam, I've heard you, I'd call you when I get home." He stated.

"Drive safe okay?" She advised. "I will, goodnight." He replied as she waved them and entered her apartment.

Kwame had gotten a nanny for Maakua, so as soon as they got home, she bathed the little girl and then put her to sleep. Her eyes were drooping. Her nanny was Kwame's little cousin who opted to look after the little girl so that he would pay her. The pay was good for the job. It was Gh¢300.00 a week. She could save up for vocational school she had wanted to attend.

"Hey, Akosua" Kwame greeted on the phone. "Hi." She added rubbing her eyes. She didn't realise when she even fell asleep.

"I'm sorry for waking you up." He sincerely apologized. "It's fine, I didn't realise when I fell asleep." She said. "How is your girlfriend Serwaa by the way?" She asked. "Oh that one, she's not my girlfriend, just my to go girl when I need sex, nothing more or less." He said. "Hmm, I've heard you o Kwame." She sat up straight.

"I'm not ready to commit now, she sef I'm about dumping her for another fine lady I've seen in my office, a slay queen just like Serwaa." He said stretching his legs.

"Men! You never change always chasing anything you see in a skirt." Akosua added chuckling as they talked on.

I'm off to bed Kwame, I have a class at 7 am wai, unlike you who can go to work anytime you like or not go at all." She yawned checking the time as it read 1:30 am.

"Alright, sleep well ohemaa, goodnight." He told. "Goodnight Kwame." She added as she hung up and headed for bed.

“Young woman, the man you married is the cause of your childlessness, you have t o seek God's intervention before it's too late." A young pastor said to Serwaa. She had parked her car in front of a supermarket and was getting stuff for her baby.“Ɛii, asɔfofoɔ aa moaba,sɛi aa na afɛ no aso, kyerɛsɛ wahu sɛ me wɔ sika nti no, me kunu yɛ sika adro, fi maniso kɔ ee (Prophets of doom, you've seen I'm a rich woman and so you're claiming my husband does money rituals, leave my sight)."She said to him.“Woman had I known is always at last." He said and walked off. She shrugged him off and continued with her shopping with no care in the world.“Kwesi, nansa niɛ aa wo piɛ afeɛ na wo ba (Kwesi, it's been three days you left and you're now coming)?"Aku asked as he walked into the house.“Madam Slay queen, do you think I would stay with you, having sex with you isn't interesting m

~ A few months later~Akosua rushed to the bathroom to puke her guts out. She had been feeling a little sick for a couple of days now.“Ma, ɛden na,ɛye wo(Mom, what's wrong with you)?" Maakua asked.“I don't feel too well." She told the girl as Kwame came from the kitchen.“What is it?" He asked spotting his wife's pale face.“I don't feel too good." She admitted.“We need to go see a doctor," Kwame said.“But you have to go to the house today, today's the day that evil woman leaves once and for all." She determined.“Don't worry dear, I've made Kwabena pose as the buyer, I would join him after we get back," Kwame added.“Alright love." She smiled at him. She was glad she was getting her home back.“Maakua, I'm taking your Mom to the hospital so do take care of the house," Kwame instructed.&

“Morning ɔdɔ(Morning love)" Kwame greeted Akosua who lay beside him peacefully. He had spent the night with her when he came visiting the previous day. They were sneaking around like two teenagers in love. “Hey, how was your night?" She lay smiling at her. “It was wonderful, I enjoyed you." He added moving close to kiss her as she moved her head. “Morning breathe." She added as she walked towards the bathroom to brush her teeth. It read 4:30 am. He had to prepare for work and drop Maakua at school. Even though she was well, the school had given her a two week grace period before she resumed. Akosua came out of the bathroom and headed to Maakua's room. She would sleep the whole day if she didn't wake her up. “Maakua" Akosua called knocking on the door as she opened it. She had just emerged from the shower when she heard her mother's knock on the door. “Good morning, darling you don't look good." She said to her. “I think I've started my menses, I saw blood in my underwear when I

“What is happening with my kids at all? Why did Todd decide to move to the Northern region all of a sudden? I know my son, there's something he's not talking about. And Eleanor too, what is she up to now that her name is almost everywhere?" Baafi asked herself sitting on her couch. Father, come to our aid. She silently prayed. Serwaa had finally given birth to her baby, that's what most people thought. They had finally adopted the one-week-old baby after a week of her fake delivery. Her mother had come to stay with them and was taking care of the baby girl, surprisingly, she looked like Leo. Yaa and Maabena turned the music on a little louder. They had gotten more money than they used to get before and they were excited. “The club isn't the best place to find a lover So the bar is where I goMe and my friends at the table doing shotsDrinking fast and then we talk slowCome over and start up a conversation with just meAnd trust me I'll give it a chance nowTake my hand, stop, p

“Hey," Kwame said as Akosua opened the door for him. “Hi, good morning" She responded ushering him inside. “Da!" Maakua called as she hugged her dad. It was a Saturday morning and he decided to come to check on them after his morning run. “Sweety, ɛtɛsen( How are you)?" He asked his daughter. Akosua was still sleepy so she retired back to bed leaving her husband and daughter to bond. “I'm fine Daddy." She answered. “Hey, let's do something for mom, she seems tired," Kwame suggested. “She stressed herself too much yesterday, that's why," Maakua confessed. Kwame and Maakua entered the kitchen to prepare food for Akosua. Eleanor checked the news headlines and once again she was on the front page. The caption read, " Eleanor Quansah is a gold digger" It further said: Eleanor found her way into Tullow Oil not to work but have an agenda of her own. She had an agenda before applying for a position at Tullow Oil, you want to know what her agenda was? Well, she had planned to seduce t

“Aidah, are you sure you know him that well to fall for him. For Christ sakes, you met him three days ago and you're already professing love? What if he's a criminal in disguise or has done something terrible and is on the run?" Kisiwaa, her best friend asked. “Kisiwaa, he's not a criminal, he's a sweet charming young man and isn't like any of my exes. I'm a successful 28year old woman. I'm rich, I have my own apartment here and houses in other regions, all I need is a man to share all of this with." Aidan told her. “I know Aidah, but be careful," Kissiwaa advised as she continued with her meal. “But Aidah, wanka ankyere me nea asiii wo ne Kent ntamu aa mogyae mepenna twe no ( You never told me what happened between you and Kent that led to your breakup)," Kissiwaa said. “Kissiwaa, asem wei na wɔ bɛ bɔ so no( Kissiwaa, is this what you want to talk about)?" Aidah asked her. “Yes, I want to know." She firmly added. “What really happened was that... Kent and I met long before we st

Akosua was being discharged from the hospital that day. Kwame was coming to take her to her house. He had told her his plans of getting rid of Eleanor, and until she was out of his house she had to stay with Maakua at her house and he promised to come see them every other day. “Da, I hope you stick to your promise, no browning(disappointment)," Maakua added as he initiated a curve. “I would stick to my promise dear, no fake promises, I've come to my senses." He told her. “It's good you did." She said earning a knock from her mother. “Ajeei(Ouch) Ma," She whined. “Fiii, fiii, is that how to talk to your father?" She asked. “Da I'm sorry." She pouted. “Its fine dear." He chuckled, forcing himself not to laugh. “Thanks for dropping us home and thanks for everything," Akosua said. “No need to thank me, I'm trying to make things right. I've regretted everything I did. I hope you find it deep within to forgive me." He pleaded. “Its fine Kwame, I've forgiven you already." She smile

“Ah, Eleanor why have you scattered my house like that? Do I owe you? Are any of your belongings here? Ha, what sort of life is that you better be very very careful. Be careful so you don't incur my anger or else you wouldn't like it." He fumed walking into the bedroom. He had come home to pick a few things and net his house in that state. He opened his safe and took all his important documents including that of the house and left a fake copy of the house documents in his drawer.Unknowingly to her, Nelson was Kwame's informant. He told him every move that Eleanor had taken. But he decided to play along, waiting to catch her redhanded.“Kwame I was trying to clean the house, nothing more or less, by the way, where are you going to?" She asked.“I have a conference and the venue is quite far from home so I'm stating at Kwabena's place until it's over. I'd see you in the office tomorrow." He said.“But you have a conference?"
