Your words left Clarice speechless; after all, it was her duty to cook, and she shouldn't have this kind of mindset.

"I'll make breakfast now," she said, turning to head to the kitchen.

"Wait a moment," Nicholas stopped her, and Clarice turned to look at him expressionlessly. "May I ask what Mr. Murray wishes?"

Nicholas's eyes darkened slightly, but he didn't mind her exceptionally unknown name. He reached out, took a small envelope from the tea table drawer, and handed it to her.

Clarice looked at it, hesitated for a moment, but still reached out to take it. "What is this?" She opened the envelope and saw a bunch of keys inside, holding one in her hand, she asked, confused, "Where is this key from?"

"I have a small apartment next door, and you will be living there from now on," he said, looking back at the newspaper with a casual expression.
