At hotel luxryo.......

Wayne couldn't still believe Nate saying he doesn't know why Mirabella is not at the party.

'You mean to tell me that, you saw her going home instead of coming here?'Wayne questioned Nate

'No I don't, remember we came here together.' Nate tried to remind him, even tho he's tired of answering the same question over and over again for hours, he dare not complain.

'Wayne I swear if you ask my staff again I swear I'll kill you' Mateo interrupted half drunk.

'I think you should be on you way home now, you're drunk' Wayne yell that to Mateo's hearing. 'Take him home, and do not forget to help me get Mirabella's number' he said facing Nate.

At Mirabella's......

'Mom' she screamed on top of her voice as tho she saw ghost as they behold her mother they've search the whole city for the whole night and morning leaning weakly to the wall shaking vigorously. she went straight to hug her as she folded her self like some statue.

'Mom where were you?' she questioned amidst tears.

'Mirabella, let's take her in please, she's shaking. Aunt Ava plead seeing how Anita was shaking.

They took her in, changed her clothes and Mirabella made her a hot coffee, she drank all with just few pauses in-between. she slept not long after that with Mirabella falling asleep beside her.

Mirabella woke up to her phone buzzing.

she picked the phone amidst sleep.

'Hel.....lo'

'Hello, are you aware of the meeting today by 4?' voice from the other said softly but with much authorities.

'Meeting by 4?' Mirabella questioned as tho she didn't hear what the other person said.' Oh shit' she shouted and stood just aware of her environment.

she looked at the wristwatch on the drawer beside the bed and realized it's past 4 already.

she rushed up but looses balance immediately but adjust herself and found her balance.

'Mirabella where to?' Aunt Ava asked as she enter the room seeing her in that condition.

'I need to get to work aunt Ava'

'What!! See, I'll call them at your work to explain all that happened, see the way you're looking, you need food and rest not stress right now.'

'Such an excuse at the work I just started yesterday.'

'Is that not enough excuse?'

Mirabella knew with the way the the conversation was going it's leading to argumentative essay and she can never win against her Aunt Ava.

'Okay, Aunt relax, it's just two hours meeting.'

'Mirabella sit down,eat, only then will I let you go.' Aunt Ava authorized, She then offered her the toast bread she had prepared for them while she and her mum were still sleeping. Mirabella rushed the food without sitting down,she barely finished two on her plate before she dropped the plate rushed into the bathroom, Ava could not tell what took place in the bathroom but she knew Mirabella spent less down five minutes in the bathroom.

'If am accurate, you spent 3min48sec to have your bath?' Ava confronted her immediately she was out of the bathroom.

'Aunt, I'll bath when am back, have gat nice deodorants.' she replied and Ava just shook her head with smile.

Mirabella rushed to her wardrobe with no further defense, she picked the first pin down body con top her hand could grabbed and put it on, she then extended her hand in the wardrobe to grabbed the nearest jean to her view and wore it on it. she knows with this pairing she never go wrong so she didn't bother thinking it through.

she combed her low-cut hair and and put her hair cream on it fast.

Looking into the mirror she quickly apply her lip balm. Mirabella has such a good skin no one will know she was a mess few hours ago.

After another five minutes, she was already on her way to work. She got to the meeting room upstairs and opened the door slowly as everyone looked towards her direction. she felt a little bit awkward but she has greater fear which was query.

she was expecting query but no one said anything so she took the next seat to Dream as the seat was vacant.

'You all know we're officially starting business here tomorrow right? no late coming, no unnecessary off, and when we're here for business let's mean business. 'Mateo said to them all but facing Mirabella.

'How's your mum now?'

'Mum?' Mirabella asked surprised 'how do you.........'

'Your Aunt called around past 4 to explain the situation, you shouldn't have come today?'

'Aunt?' she questioned but quickly remembered she dropped her office hotline and address with Aunt Ava before resuming the work yesterday.

'Oh yeah, Aunt.' she giggled.

'Okay Guys this meeting is over,I hope you all have the work guide distributed?'

'Yes' they all chorused except Mirabella.

'See you guys at work tomorrow?'

Everyone stood to go.

'Mirabella.... please wait behind we need to talk.'

when everyone had left Mirabella stood not quit far from her Boss

'Ermmm....' Distracted by looking at Mirabella standing. 'Really? was she this fine?, she has a nice shape too? why is her waist that tiny?' All this was going on on Mateo's head but he dear not say that out to his own staff. He love pleasure, yes but he try so much not to mix pleasure with work, he had been able to take his eyes off his staffs no matter how tempting.

' Boss, Boss, Boss' Mirabella called out her Boss knowing he's lost lusting over her.

'Yeah, yeah erm.... pls can you... can you sit down'

Mirabella sat instantly knowing it's needed to help this man before her.

'Ok, let me go straight to the point, Mirabella I Know the agreement you and the manager had was to employ you as a waitress but I don't know if that is possible again.'

'what!! Ah... sir did I do something wrong?, Sir please what happened today will never repeat itself I promise.' Mirabella started blabbering different things to save her job.

Mateo brought out a one page typed note and push it to her, Mirabella extended her hand to grab it fast to see what it entails. 'maybe it's sack letter.' she thought as she grabbed the note, but when she went through the note she just sighed

'Aah, sir I don't think this can work sir'

'Why not Mirabella, why not? He questioned her and before she could reply he added' Think about it as a way of having more time for your mum who needs you. it's only weekends you need to be at work, Friday, Saturday and Sunday Evening and your pay is twice what we agreed before. '

'Sir but I'll be closing late, 11:pm sir.'

'You can be sleeping in the resting room on the second floor and atimes when you feel you can't sleep, Kas, my driver will always go drop you.'

'I just did this performing thing on stage that day to save our reputation, am not a musician. '

'And customers love it, they hope to see more of you,we read the reviews before you came in and what people commented on mostly was your music, Seeing more of you. please help the growth of this company. '

'Aah .....ahhhh....' giggling reluctantly.

'Okay Mirabella go and think about it and please, get back to me on or before wednesday.'

'But can I come to work from tomorrow?'

'No, Mirabella' he responded but seeing the look on Mirabella's faced he added 'If you come back on Wednesday and you said you don't want to accept my offer, I'll give you back your work and you'll have your full salary at the end of the month.

Mirabella sighed with relief. 'Ok Sir, If you don't mind sir, I'll love to be on my way now. '

'No problem ' Mirabella stood and was heading to the door when Mateo called her back.'

'Mirabella....'
