"Why did you hide it from us?".mrs davis glared at her son who didn't say anything."is it because we are so unrealiable to you?.is that why?".

The whole family members were all present sitting in the living room.mr davis who came back from his work had called for the meeting.

"It's not like that". nolan said.he could feel an headache coming soon.

"Or you still blame us for the incident?".mrs davis said."it has to be one of the two reasons otherwise I can't understand why you hid it from us".

Mr Davis who hadn't spoken suddenly called his wife name."Martha".he said nothing more but his wife understood him.

"Fine".martha said."let's hear what he has to say".

Nolan stared between his dad and mom for their expression,when he noticed that they were calm,he decided to speak."it's true that I have found her".he stopped waiting to see if they would speak but when they didn't he countinued."she doesn't recognize me though".

"Huh?".maryl said immediately receiving a glare from her brother which shut her up.

"She doesn't recognize you?".martha asked frowning."and why is that?".

"It seems that she lost her memories".nolan answered.

"Oh". maryl said in realization."so you kept it a secret because you were worried that we would go see her and she wouldn't recognize us".

Nolan didn't respond instead he glanced at his dad who hadn't spoken."Dad".

Mr davis sighs which shows that he was thinking deeply about something.martha who notices the fact that her son was staring at her husband taps her husband lightly on his leg.

"Honey".her husband turns his not speaking."are you not going to say anything?".

He glanced as his son briefly before speaking."What is your plan son?.am sure you already have one".Mr davis said.

"Am working on it".nolan said.he truly already had a plan but he wasn't sure it could work.

"Is there any way we could be of help to you?".martha asked to nolan who nods.

"For the meantime, let's not meet with her".he said."I don't know much about memory loss but meeting her without using the right method could trigger her memories in a wrong way".he then adds."especially you maryl.don't go see her".

Maryl was surprised to hear her name."why me?".

"You never listen but I hope you do listen this time". nolan said.although his voice was neutral,it had a bit of warning underlying.

"Yea yea".she reluctantly agrees."sure".she couldn't afford to say anything as she had already been warned.

That marked the end of discussion between the davis family.

After a lot of persuasion from miss bailey,I decided to attend the dinner in which I arrived at the venue.It seemed nothing out of the ordinary though,just normal decorations and that was it.

My eyes carefully scanned the whole area hoping to see someone I know as I was seated around the corner.i was doing just that before I heard someone speak behind me.

"You are finally here erica".I turn to look at a female whose face I didn't recognize.

"Have we ever met before?".I ask as I watch her carefully.she seemed to realize something as smiled but I could see that it was forced smile.

"Oh,am sorry".she apologized."I mistook you for someone else".her explanation didn't sound convincing at all instead I became suspicious.

"I think realize that somebody else name is also erica".she clearly said my name and yet she says that she mistook me for somebody else.

Surprise was written on her face.i guess she wasn't expecting me to say that.

"No..um..a slip of the tongue".she stutters.

"Really?".I gave her a doubtful look."I don't think that you saying my name was a mistake".the vibes she gave was off.

I wanted to question her more but then my eyes caught a glimpse of someone who wasn't supposed to be here."wasn't that...?".

I guess I lost all sense of reason as my leg took me to the direction of where I had seen the person forgetting the girl I was talking to.

I walked continuously not knowing where I was but somehow it seems familiar.i couldn't see the person I was following and just I was about to go back I heard someone speak.

"She has arrived sir".I hear the familiar voice says confirming my suspicion.

"I wasn't wrong.it wasn't a mistake,it really is miss bailey".what was she doing here?.she had told me that she was traveling and wouldn't be able to accompany me when I asked her to come here with me".

"Really?".I hear a male voice asks and then curiosity got the best out of me to see the man's face but his back was turned towards me."that's good then.i will alert the higher ups".

"Is there anything I can do?".miss bailey asks.

"It's nothing much".I watch the man shakes his head before speaking."just make sure that she doesn't leave here".

"Okay".miss bailey nods.she was about to turn when the man stopped her.

"She mustn't leave here".the man said."make sure of that".I hid myself well as the man walked away in the other direction.

I slowly walked away from the place not wanting to stay there any longer.

There are so many questions I have running through my head.like why miss bailey was there?,she had told me that she wasn't gonna be around.

Why did she lie?.and who the girl they're talking about is and what is the reason why the girl must not leave?.
